Retro Mike made a video on how to mine. It is on the Mining4People pool now as well. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7czpofO65P4.htmlsi=e-_3-Iq1meac55VT
O que você acha do *Internet Computer ICP* , sua opinião realmente tem potencial para o futuro, eu fiz um pequeno, mas ainda compro 1k todo mês! Obrigado antecipadamente.
Well that’s the “fun” in it. You don’t know until you sell. However by doing this you are creating transactions on the network which in turn are fees that go to miners. More money flowing means more people interested in mining and securing the network. Growth means price potential. So it could be worth it but don’t put money into you also can’t lose.
I'll definitely be up for a few hours before the launch with my coffee in hand watching it like it is the moon landing. Hope it all goes well for the team.
Video is much appreciated. You are the only one to actually make it clear, you have to find the edge of the Back, not pry between the Glass and plastic edging. In my Case it wasn't obvious due to an extremely swollen battery causing the plastics to flex away from the edge of the glass. First Clip released was scary - Big Pop an the Casing distorted from the pressure of the Battery, even jarring the on/off button assembly away from the back cover. Took my time with a triangle edge pick and got it all loose. As soon as I lifted the Motherboard cover off both main Ribbon cables popped off the main board from the battery being so swollen. **** Samsung had Glued the Battery in place - complete coverage - and it was extremely difficult to pry loose, even with Wide plastic blades. Finally had to take large screwdrivers to get enough lift and a metal flat pick to separate the Glue. Long story short the Phone is back to operational and still in relatively good shape. *Moral of the story - Don't let your wife Game for hours a day, every day, with the charger plugged in. SMH! Thanks again!
Can you explain something to me please ? When you go into mint there is a scroll thing, what is it and why does it have a limit of 1000 ? Can you only mint 1000 coins per go of the same ticker only ? At 1:00. Thanks !
The scroll I believe you are talking about is the number of tokens you want to mint. Yes there is a limit only allowing you to mint 1000 tokens at a time.
@@Evanation81 yeah any clue on why they got rid of removable backs? used to be a thing in the mid 2000 teens. I've heard its because most people rather get a new phone instead of get a new battery.
I believe it has to do with making phones more slim but still giving them some durability and protection to the battery. Or even the resistant to spills, etc. Similar to laptops that are thin, you can’t replace the battery easily. In order to make the design work well and avoid puncture damaged, the thin batteries are covered with a solid back and often other components. The other thought is you don’t need to replace the battery daily like you may have in the old days. When the batteries may not have lasted as long. You run all day and just charge at night. So most of the life of your phone, the battery shouldn’t need to be replaced, but things fail.
Thanks for your very informative video! I have this phone and my battery swelled up so bad that the case separated from the screen. I bought a battery off of eBay and removed the old battery and installed the new one. The old battery had some very sticky 2-sided tape inside to hold it in place. The only thing I had to watch for was the very thin black wire that runs along the edge of one side on the inside of the case, had to make sure when I snapped it back together that the wire didn't get pinched. Everything went back together as it should and the battery is charging right now. Thank you again for your video, it was very helpful!
Awesome! I’m grateful I was able to help you out. If there is anything else I can help with let me know. Especially something that a video would be helpful to you or those you know. I’ve got a list to create but always love to help.
Thanks for this tutorial! NervaOne wallet and miner is a few month old project so work in progress. It's still being developed and improved. There are plans to take it to the next level and make something bigger out of it that privacy focused individuals should appreciate.
Things I look for in projects… foundation, function, and “family”. Did the project start with solid science and proper documentation? Does it provide a function that is useful to the space? And is it comprised of a good community of people? XNV has been one of those that passes my litmus test.
Hi. Is Nerva mining profitable in this month? I have a ryzen 7950 and I think about mining nerva. how much dollars I can earn for 1 day on your opinion?
See what hashrate you get and plug it into their mining calc. I would assume you could get about 15kh/s on that proc at full cores. So maybe .75 to $1 a day depending on electricity cost at current XNV price. nerva.one/nerva-mining-profitability-calculator/
There is a sheet further down from the calculator that shows a 7950x at just 5kh/s. Would be curious what you get if you decide to try and don’t mind sharing. What is reported would only be about 2 XNV a day but I can get that on my 3600 at times.
Update on this, I used full threads on my Ryzen 3600 and actually get a block an hour average. So right now 24 blocks is 7.2 Nerva a day or about $0.37. I’m gathering hashrates at full threads for other processors as well. Hopefully this will be on Hashrate.no soon to compare to other coins.
Way to go Kaspa! Woke up to it breaking 20 cents today! Will we see 25? Or more resistance at 20? Order books show lots of sells at 20 but let see if the buys win today.
Hard to say, I always have a healthy level of conspiracy about most things. When big players come in you always wonder about manipulation somehow. However you look at the order books now and they are filled with buys at .197 and sells as .199. I think we maybe in this pattern for a few more days in my opinion.
I just noticed my phone bulging today just a little bit about like the old battery on this video. Is this phone prone to this problem? Should I replace the battery or get a different model of phone?
Any battery of this type is going to eventually do this. Especially if you leave your phone on a charger all the time. Batteries need to be exercised. If you feel comfortable just replace the battery. I have Samsung A03Ss that do the same so it isn’t contained to a particular model/manufacturer.
@@Evanation81 My battery swelled up really bad and I was in the habit of having it plugged in and charging all the time because I don't use it that much. Thanks for the tip, I replaced the battery and I won't have it plugged in all the time from now on.
You should be able to change your POOL Addr to the IP and port of the local node. This would make it SOLO mining at that point. Example if you node is 192.168.1.100 your pool URL would look like this: stratum+tcp://192.168.1.100:16110 I'll verify this works as expected as well soon as I get my node back up and synced.
This has connected using the string as in the previous comment in the Pool Addr. field under mining settings. However, I believe we will need to setup the Kaspa Statum Bridge to actually use the IceRiver ASICs. I'll work on installing docker and giving this a shot. I can then create a walkthrough for this portion if needed for you guys. github.com/rdugan/kaspa-stratum-bridge
Finally got this going. You do indeed need the Kaspa Bridge. Even though it is written in GO, you can use it for a Rusty node. For my KS0 you have to set the min_share_diff in the config.yaml file to 64 or the KS0 will crash once it connects to the bridge. You can see more information in the bridge readme section on IceRiver. Also remember if you have multiple ASICs you will want to set the extranonce_size to 2. It won't hurt with just one either. For KS0Pro set these: min_share_diff: 128 extranonce_size: 2 Assuming for KS0Ultra would be: min_share_diff: 256 extranonce_size: 2 After you change these settings you will need to rebuild the docker container. There maybe a better way but I'm no docker expert. docker compose -f docker-compose-bridge-src.yml up -d --build Then you can change your ASIC miner to point to your bridge using port 5555 example: stratum+tcp://192.168.1.100:5555
@@Evanation81 Thank you for this confirmation, would appreciate if you have any additional information to get this going, got it going for my KS0 Pro and KS0 Ultra on the KDX nodes, however seem to struggle getting it running on the Rusty ones.
excellent ! very good explanation of using the NervaOne Wallet and Miner desktop app. including the importance of saving keys off-disk was very good ... many new miners overlook that.
bravo ! a good overview of a coin that anybody can easily mine without needing expensive hardware. Nerva is privacy focused and takes Satoshi's vision of ONE CPU, ONE VOTE to heart.
The C:\Mining directory is a folder I typically create on my mining rigs to make it easier to find all my mining files. Just open My Computer > C: > Right Click > New Folder and name it what you want. Then you can also exclude that folder from Virus scanning as most mining software is going to be flagged as a virus even though it is not. In the video I use that folder to copy the files you download, but you can use any folder of your choice. The point is just to note where you save them so you can change to that directory when running the commands in command prompt.
Great video. I've rexxently purchased a used mining frame and an Asus R260 Mining Expert mobo. I'm on disability and don't have a lot of extra funds right now, What GPUs would you recommend used for someone just strting out? looking forward to your next video!
However if you need to go a bit cheaper I started on GTX 1660ti , 1660 super is about the same and should be able to get a used one for $100 or less currently.
Thanks for review, thinking about getting it. By the way, how much power can it really handle? Some reviews said it died on them and my build will be pretty strong
You should always use the 80% rule when dealing with any electrical ratings. Even though it shows 700w that is most likely the max power not the continuous power rating. Their manual doesn’t depict which that I have found. If your total power draw in your build is around 560w or less in normal operation you should be good.
