I know its been a while since the cideo was posted, but were you able to get the grill off easy? I just installed a badlands winch and am thinking of replacing it with a smitty
New subscriber 😊. Just got a 2022 Gladiator Rubicon with the manual. Have 35's with a 2.5 inch leveling kit. We are on the fence going with 37's til I found your video. Do you still hit 6th gear on the flats or are you stuck in 5th most of the time. Also have you towed anything since u got them, and I if so how did that work out. We have a 2800 lb camper we are planning on towing. Appr the video and any advice and info. Thanks 😊 👍
Nice video, thank you! You mentioned that you didn’t know if you would be able to use them on the road without getting flashed. How has it been? Do folks flash you a lot?
Hey quick question about the fog lights. Would the stock lights look like they would fit? I ask because I bought KChilites that match the stock set up but don’t know and couldn’t tell from your vid if the stock light set up would be a perfect fit. Sorry I’m advance if I missed it.
Nothing more fun to me than working on Jeeps with kids! You've got a great helper right there! Nice bumper, too. I just ordered one for my JK! Nice looking Gladiator, too. Are those Jesse Spade rims? Love the looks of those, too! I recommend zip ties for the shackles, through the loop and around the shackle, so the shafts don't back out with vibration. I've almost lost shackles from that. Great video!
Im with Tony, I d love see if it is something I could swing for my gladiator. Ive a hard top and am in northern NM, if you need a test fit dummy for that, just a long day away
Great Job Guy'z Quick question why didn't you install the Baja Designs fog's that you did??? Do they fit was thinking about picking up this bumper but don't want to lose my BD Fog's
We still want to use this as a truck first and foremost. Removing the bed would have made this a single purpose vehicle instead of a multi use adventure rig.
So did you end up drilling through the firewall or going through the grommet? Any pointers on your frustration points would be appreciated!!! I am having the most difficult time trying to get that wire through the grommet with my fat hands and not damaging any other wiring. Thanks buddy.
I did go through the grommet. It was the hardest part of the entire install.I used a piece of tig wire with a hook bent into the end and electrical tape to hold the plug in place and then pushed it through, The grommet has a seal on both sides so it is pretty difficult to get through. I went in the wheel well to reach up to the grommet. It was a little nerve racking as I had the same fear as you of damaging the wiring. Hope you used the discount code to get the 20% off!
Resurrected MotorSports thanks buddy. I also went through the engine bay. Used a coat hanger, some paracord, dielectric grease, lots of sweat and cursing and finally got it all set up!! Damn I missed the discount code. Oh well!! Keep the vids coming!!!
We are hoping it will be under 600lbs with all the roof gear and interior. The cost of aluminum will vary greatly depending on where you get it and current market, i'd budget around $1,500 on the aluminum. Thanks a ton, it has been a minute but we are hoping to get back on the build and get you some new content soon.
You paid basically paid $44k for a rubicon sport. Never seen cloth seats in a rubicon before. I've never seen that package at all. Strange and solid find. I'm sorry AND congrats on the manual transmission super rare. I bought mine for towing too but I opted for the automatic because I did the research before I bought it. The turn signal is European inspired and is not a defect. It will probably make it last longer without the traditional click to position type signal stalks. The gladiator is an amazing jeep in a sea of wranglers. Welcome to the club. Hurry up and start modding. Also, I like your dog. He gets it. lol
We have been modding lol. Check out our other videos! I do love this truck, However it is going to get a supercharger or gears soon, I am not a big fan of the 3.6. It leaves too much to be desired down low in the RPM range.
Very helpful video. I was on the edge about going 37 but Im gonna do it now. Was there an offset on your rims or is it same as factory? I plan on keeping my factory JT Rubicon rims.
