Hi, it's best to contact our customer service team to make sure you get the correct part - it might depend on which motor you have. Email them at watersnake@watersnake.com.au .
Am I the only one who was taught neg first then positive when disconnecting and positive first then negative when connecting a battery? This is incorrect. Like for real. Isn't it ?
Hi, it depends on which Shadow motor and the remote you're referring to. Please email your question with these details to watersnake@watersnake.com.au and the team can help you further.
The Jack bar is extremely smooth and will want to rotate when the motor runs, the locking screws designed to prevent this rotation aren’t really big enough to tighten enough by hand. The torque created by the motor is too much for them to hold the Jack bar in place. The motor itself is just fine, unfortunately the mount needs a work around. Close but not close enough.
Hi, the part number is HP7.330.000.00A and here is a link to purchase if you are in Australia: www.anglerscentral.com.au/watersnake-foot-control-micro-switch.html otherwise contact your local distributor: www.watersnake.com.au/pages/contact
Anyone know if you can name the saved anchor Spot? IE "Bertie wreck" etc. Or name the Tracks? IE "North Shore" etc? Would be a huge help if possible....
Id like to shorten my watersnake slither shaft about 12". Any special tip or tricks to this? I watched a few RU-vid videos and it doesnt seem to bad. Your videos are great. Cheers
Even before watching this - the ONLY difference between spin and Blackfish " centrepin" is that line management is way easier with centerpin.....otherwise ZERO difference.... ( well spin has better drag than the Alvey or similar centrepin systems )....
Put a zip tie on the end that does not have the clip. You will never have to worry about it coming apart or losing part of it. ru-vid.comUgkxxvthjLYk8bJwhOkjNsLvPwnSKZmnHeT1 The diameter of the holes are about 2 1/2". They can still get out if there is no bait in the trap. You can also use a zip tie to keep the bait in place. I use a can of Sardines in oil with hole punched in it wired to the bottom and then loose Chicken or fish. This keeps them there longer, but if left long enough the trap will be empty. I learned this the hard way. I threw the trap in and watched it aMost fill up. Like a dummy, I got greedy, when I came back in an hour, all were gone except four. Good buy for the money!
This is the best trolling motor I have ever owned. Very powerful and the salt water does not have any affect on it. The reverse is just as powerful. This motor performs just as well as the high dollar motors.
Love this. ru-vid.comUgkxntWMOZsO1Zfv-pdn_XuffEtNkTYAYu4Z recommend Got it a couple weeks ago hated having to wait almost 2 weeks to get it out fishing. This pole is one of our new catfish poles. It stood up quite well today. It casts great. It reels smoothly. The pole is easily collapsible. friend ended up catching only one fish because we didn't have too long to fish, and he reeled it in easily. Good buy. Hubby is happy so I am happy! Looking forward to warmer temps so we can spend more time playing with it!
Very nice. This will hold you in position with gps? It seems to me like it would keep the bow into the swell, is that correct? I have a 24’ sea swirl Striper and when I’m fishing in the ocean I always end up sideways to the swell and rolling which makes me 🤮.
Hi, the top of the prop should be 30cm(1ft) or more from the surface, to prevent ventilation (air getting sucked down into the prop). In choppy conditions where the boat is moving up and down, having the prop a bit deeper than that would be ideal.
I do not recommend the Watersnake in the side mounted configuration. You can turn on one direction and list in the other. It's hard as hell to keep your bearings true on the low setting and the high setting tries to tip your fucking kayak. Recommend mounting off the front, extending the tiller handle and wiring up new switches on the end of a cable so you can reach. As it stands without modification, it's a piece of shit.
