Hi , nice video. I purchased one of these this year 2022 but finding it hard getting parts filters etc.....Do you or anyone have any idea where i could get parts for this wee beauty ?
Hello. i am M.Aslam Khan from Lahore, Pakistan. i need a motor home to travel around the world for"Global Peace Mission"on FOC basis please . Thanks & Regards.
make sure its 12 volt and that your car has 2 towing plugs. the grey plus is for the fridge and reverse lights... need engine running as it takes a lot of current for the fridge and it only cools a bit... you will not be able to keep it on 12 volt through a summer week as 12 volt not powerful enough plus would not keep car running 24 hours per day. when you switch the car ignition off the 12 volt supply to fridge stops working.
240v for on site with electric. 12v for the journey then 240v onsite or gas off site note gas. Is a slow process best to use 12v on the journey then gas off grid. Trust me it takes 6-9 hours for the gas to kick in. Its a condescending system on gas. The hotter the compressor the cooler it gets when running on gas.
you got a realy bad fridge if it takes that long kicking in. mine kicks in and starts to freeze ice compartment in an hour in the middle of summer, 2 hours you 100% got ice cubes . electric is a touch slower than the gas to get going.. 12 volt just keeps it a bit cool. will never freeze the ice compartment on 12 volt, its impossible.
hEllo @@philldownes8685 is it normal that first the ice compartment will start feeling cold and then the main bridge area or both of them should getting the same amount of cold? I have only tried on 12V and 220V. on 12V It would take about 6hrs minimum for the ice compartment to get cold (not icy) and then slowly slowly the main fridge area will start feeling also cold. Like 12hrs for all the fridge to feel cold, i never managed to leave it on 12V cause in the night it will drain my battery. Is it normal to make so much time on electric? I never managed to make it work on gas , everybody suggest to take it off and turn it upside down for some hours but it is a big project to remove it from the van.
Thank you for this video :) I have one like this maybe the model before and I need to find gas connectors for the metal pipe coming from the fridge.. Can you or anyone tell me how to know what I need?
