Sorry you didn’t enjoy the film mate. Personally I really had fun with it, loved the action mad max meets suicide squad and enjoyed the chemistry between blanchett and greenblatt.
Great video as always James but what happened to the video for the 2nd part of your collection? I set an alert but it never seemed to go live. . . . . I hope we haven't lost it . . . or is it still in the works
Evolution finally got a u.k release from hmv woot woot. Good to see your trying some old film. Heres a few absolute bangers worth watching whatever age one is. Here goes. Key largo - the killers ava gardner version - white heat with james cagney ( takes a hour to get going but the last 30mins is insane) hard to believe its a 50s movie. The lost weekend by billy wilder the best director for decades its about alcoholism. 1960s psycho a must watch. 1970s a woman under the influence , another alchy story. Also the big sleep is pretty good. And citizen kane. Invasion on the body snatchers 70s version. 80s and 90s to many to mention.
Hi James, ignorant people arriving late and using their phones in the cinema seem to be normal behaviour nowadays unfortunately 🤬 wow lots of Ghibli films with the slipcovers… awesome 👌 regarding Star Trek, you have the original crew (Kirk and Spock etc) they had the Tv show and the first six films in the franchise… then the rebooted show Star Trek The Next Generation (with Picard and Riker etc) they had the next four films one of which had a time crossover featuring both Kirk and Picard (the two Enterprise captains) and that film was called Star Trek generations….after that there are various TV show spin offs…. Hope that helps. Take care mate👍😃👍
That defo helps a lot! So I need to start with the original crew and first 6 movies! I'm gonna get on that prob won't watch the TV show but thats a start 😃 Thanks man
That is why I don’t like going to the Movies anymore, to much distraction, cell phones, talking, people coming in late, people to tall setting in front of you, and eating & drinking during the movie! I enjoy it more watching it at home better!
Nice to see my home town 🏴, I popped in Friday after my hair cut, found it very expensive 😢☹️kind heart and coronets was £25😮, did you notice behind the counter high on the shelf another load of steel books 😳, great channel 👌, how green is my valley ponty 🤔take care, James and Obi 🙏
I really enjoyed it when I watched it, and having just checked my film database, I realise I don't actually own it. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for it in my local CEX.
I really enjoyed it. Thought it was very funny. But what didn't land for me was the nice deadpool. Thought it was a bit silly. And the villain was just weak. Didn't find her menacing at all
Interesting take on them, it must be a generation and nostalgia view. growing up with them I find the first 2 miles ahead of the 3rd and 4th, I would happily watch the originals over and over. Its what makes us all different, would be a boring world if we all liked and disliked the same things. Great work on being open to revisit older movies and given them an honest review
Please pay more attention when driving. You didn't check your mirrors or seem to indicate once and also kept looking at the camera. I would also warn you that filming whilst driving can get you penalty points, especially if police saw this.
Filming whilst driving is not illegal and/or can be activated with voice commands. The roads I also was driving on did involve a lot of stop start so it does look otherwise but definitely was safe to drive. It also was very early and traffic was at a minimum. Appreciate the comment tho must be a great fan of the channel
I don't think this film is anywhere near as bad as its reputation. It's an enjoyable sequel and fits in well to the franchise. (unlike other awful sequels like 'Shaft 2019' or 'The Predator' did in their franchises). I do consider the 3rd film the poorest out of the now 4 films. Just recently watched BHC AF and it is a great film. A return to form.
Jesus mate. I've watched it twice, 1st time in 94 it was shit then and we had a Beverly Hills copathon before axel f and it's still shit, it's an awful piece of movie making.
no mention of garbo -- more english speaking people are the heroes. The drama and romance attached to the characters -- offensive. Films can be analytic and clinical, or they can be goddamn soap operas -- who on earth would prefer the latter. Waste of good subject matter. Shame on all involved.
Looking forward to future episode of this showing the rest of your collection. Some of those movies I've seen AGES ago and totally forgot about, I'll definitely be re-watching /searching on ebay to them pick up. Great work as always
