Reach has always been my favorite. I was 15 when I got to play it and had already been through hell multiple times by then so the gravity of the situation hit me differently. I was legitimately filled with rage towards the covvies by The end of the game and I made the zealots that killed most of my team pay for it in blood. I literally beat them to death with an empty energy sword and I used my speed and tactics to my advantage. If this was a rated m game the Zealots would of had mangled body parts and helmets caved in for killing the only team I ever really liked. I still go back and play cuz reach is still my favorite game along side doom and now Starfield.
Always felt sad for Jorge. On top of everything, right before he saw Sword Base being wiped out so he died thinking that Halsey died when she survived. Despite what everyone thinks of her, he was heartbroken at her “death”. He died saddened yet hopeful that his death would be the last when it was only just the beginning.
What a fantastic voice over. I recently just created a gaming channel and this is actually how I want my videos to look like. I actually just uploaded a halo reach video but yours knocks mine out of the park man❤ well done looking forward to seeing more
I wonder why Jun was the only surviving member of Noble team. All of them died in very sarcastic ways, Noble 6 the lone wolf died alone, the CQC vet died in CQC, the brains of the team died by a headshot, the honorable and loyal died in vain, the captain died with ship but Jun, why Jun?
Reach was a crazy game for me when I was like around 7-8 yrs of age. I practically grew a bond with my spartan and the story reach provided. Each of Nobel’s team death when I saw it for the first time just hurt cuz like I loved the characters. But I remember when I got to lone wolf. The loneliness and hordes of covenant just feel so heavy. The death of noble 6 when Impacted me so hard due to the attachment I had for him that after I finished it. I never touched that mission for so many years due to the weight of your own Spartans death. It was til I was like 14-15 that I replayed it again and yet it still hurt seeing. This game just gave me such a strong emotion that I haven’t seen in a game in a long long time
crazy part is, when Jun said he will do what is necessary to prevent halsey from being taken by the covenant, he was willing to kill her before they could take her
I loved this video so much I wish there was more of it. So many scenes not shown like the civilian ship going down on exodus. Great editing, fun game play, good shit brother. This game, Halo CE-Reach is something so beyond special to me. I remember when it came out. My life was always a mess but this story, these characters, the journey i went on from Halo to the Ark and back to Reach did so much more than bind me together through some of the shittiest times. I met some of the most amazing people, the machinima at the time like Rise of The Spartans and Red vs Blue was something unlike youtube has ever seen before and since. This story is so near and dear to my heart, i cant tell you the amount of times ive played or beaten every Halo. When reach came out i hadnt had internet yet, except for a brief moment during Halo 3s run, i grinded that games campaign and firefight to the max level and got the haunted helmet before my very first match. The music, the sounds, the enviornments, its all so....breathtaking... Nothing has come close to this series for me except for BG3 and even then...still...Halo...i wish the series went with Reach. Halo didnt deserve to be what it has become...
Reach once it came out was adored and now after so many years and changes and after seeing what halo has become now a lot of Halo fans have looked back and realized that Reach was the golden era…… We just didn’t know it…
Reach is the only halo game that gets close to the lore of the books in the sense that it really paints the picture of how big a threat the covenant were to humanity.
my headcanon is that Sergeant Johnson didn't actually die and passed out for a couple minutes, and when he woke up, he walked around drowsily and somehow accidentally activated some forerunner healing technology, which brought him back from the brink of death. He then found an alternate route to a abandoned starship and raced there on a warthog run. Eventually he launches from the spaceship but it's pretty damaged from the blast, unable to fly anymore, and communications are broke too. He goes into cryosleep like Master Chief but won't be found as quickly. Noble Six? Same thing (hell no bro is definitely dead but I can dream).
I've really been thinking, given I can't tell which inaccurate lore is 343's, I think that scene with Cortana might be saying she wasn't as much made by Halsey, as she was... taken from the artifact. Not sure though, just an idea. But given forerunners were humans, she wouldn't look any different from what she does now. She never really did look like Halsey, just shared a voice actor. Which hey, so does Huey and Riley from the boondocks so I am not sure that really means anything.
If reach has taught me anything. Than the message it spread to me was “Never forget your past, as it can also Unveil the future.” I am a hardcore Noble 6 fan. And Even if He is dead. Atleast he went out with a bang. According to halo lore. He fought and lasted 3 Days by himself against incoming covenant ships before he finally fell. And if That isn’t a warriors way to go I dont know what is.
Reach is a battle we all knew from the very start how would it end. Yet, we've been fighting all this years for that planet. Remembering Reach was what brought victory to humanity in the Covenant war. If it wasn't for all the sacrifice, hope would've be lost. And that's why we continue to fight. Current objective: SURVIVE
