LA Metro's B and D lines actually get similar ridership per mile compared to the Washington Metro, but here in DC we get 4 - 12 min headways... Honestly, LA should focus more on its heavy rail lines.

Forward 2024 now but operators are subjected to attacks by strangers, and dealing with LA aggressive drivers. Takes a especial bus driver to deal with all that. Is not easy being a Metro bus driver.
Sorry but paying 20+ ppl a day 10+/hr to make sure they pay 1.75 is useless especially since the cops do nothing when crime is commited. Ive had over 100k stolen on mta property and they will do nothing about it.

I know I'm probably spoiled rotten by the superb metro system my city has, but a headway of 12 min is still pretty ridiculous for LA. At that rate you might as well be running buses instead of trains. Get it to below 10 and we'll celebrate.
