Thanks for the honesty in the sharing and questions. This is such an essential topic. I think about 100% of us carry some kind of sexual trauma in varying degrees and using TRE is a wonderful tool to alleviate and release that stored trauma.

Some excellent content Cheda and Chandani, thank you. As a TRE practitioner, for more than 20 years now, I can say that the most important skill for facilitating clients is the ability to manage my own internal state regardless of what is happening in the client who is lying on the mat. That feeling of internal stillness is "infectious" and goes a long way to creating the safe space for the client, and the practitioner, to maximise the benefits of every session. When I engage with a new client, I always say that TRE is not a silver bullet and that it takes several hours of sessions to learn to trust the body and start to let go, and allow the tremors to move more freely. I also teach them self-regulation from the first ten minutes of tremor. I encourage all of my clients to learn to tremor on their own as fast as possible. Bad for business but good for people! Keep up the good work. The world needs us now more than ever!
