The fact that AI somehow managed to make a metal version of this song, which conveys completely appropriate emotions that are also different from the vast majority of settings is astonishing.
There's so much to love about this song. The first-beat emphases at the beginning, the rhythmic contrasts, the small motif that the whole song is built on that never gets boring... this is a favorite.
As a classical vocalist I never thought I would love any song with straight up metal screaming in it... but I've listened to this at least twenty times.
It's far better than the UK mountain dew at least. Im from UK and I get eastern european, middle eastern or far east asian mountain dew from specialist shops since USA & Mexican mtn dew are banned, and UK mtn dew is crap
When I went to the UK for a family vacation about a decade ago, I tried one of their Mountain Dews once and I thought it was like drinking sugared cat piss (not that I’ve ever tried drinking cat piss mind you, but because it tasted so god awful that it’s how I imagined it would taste like).

Pirate Metal? that's a new sub-genre to me.... I personally like Atmospheric, Progressive, Gothic, Unblack etc. type Black metal. This song/music reminds me mostly of Folk Metal (i.e. Eluveitie etc.) I guess because of the violins. Anyway, I think this is a very cool song. I like the Christian lyrics very much.
