Sage, or EctoSage here, and this is my gaming, and modding channel. I mainly make Sci-fi video game based videos, and attempt to mod for said games.
I do have another channel, which is more of a random vlog/nonsense channel. ru-vid.com
As well as a stream VOD channel ru-vid.com/show-UCo237V92FupO2EdkLw_QpGA

I do hope youre doing well wherever where's you've gone, you where a big part of my younger life and still everytime i think scifi i think of sage. So good luck and god speed
Honestly, the reactor setup could do with some optimizing. Hook all reactors up to the conveyor, so that they'll get refilled automatically, and then just have one single accessible small reactor somewhere at the back or bottom or wherever you think is safest. That accessible reactor will be the emergency reactor, shut it off, put in as much uranium as you feel comfortable with keeping for emergencies, and then only turn it on for refueling if your your main reactors run out of uranium. That way you won't have to worry about manually checking and refueling the reactors every time. You could also set up a proper emergency mode, where you turn off all but a single small thruster in each direction and a single gyroscope once emergency power is turned on, that way you'll still be able to maneuver somewhat. In large ships you could also set up some emergency lights too for visual effect (and to save a tiny little bit more power). Won't work that well on planets, of course, because you'd still need to have the ability to stay in the air, but if you're still playing og space engineers (without planets) or if you've already made it off the planet, it would be a viable strategy.
I gotta say, I haven't watched your videos in literal years, but back then, maybe about 10 years ago, I watched your Space Engineers Vids, and they've been very helpful especially with the technical side of things, like properly naming and grouping everything to be able to have a good overview of all components and everything. Always done it that way after seeing you do it in your videos (amongst a few other things) and it's made navigating the menus a lot easier. Haven't played SE in like 2 or 3 years, but just remembered your channel for, like, nostalgia and how much your videos have influenced and improved my way of building and planning stuff and everything, so, big thanks for that. (If you even still read comments, considering that your last vid is from 2 years ago)
Hey i hope you're doing okay i really miss you here on youtube. you my never have been the bigest youtuber or anytihng but you are by far one of my favorite i hope that we will see more frome you some time in the future but until then i wisch you all the best in life
Awesome ship. Now you can use this design as a dock-station for, as example, S.C.A.M. mining drone system. Oh, also you can include a cargo logistics drones that will transport refined products from cracker to your production arrays
Im rewatching this again, 9 years later. Crazy to think Space Engineers has been around this long. Also, Joint Survival was awesome. Wish ya’ll were still around.
I Just wanted to come back here and remember this good time. I remember getting this game and I just thought how cool this game is and still it is a good game. Its amazing how long this game has lasted. I really think this game on release was ahead of its time and still is.
@@patrickbick2064Nah, I think it's more, like, he "died" on RU-vid, like, he's probably still out there irl, doing whatever he does and hopefully having fun. He's just not here anymore and very unlikely to ever come back.
The recent Dead Space remake and a friend talking me into playing Space Engineers after 5 years made me think of Sage. Shame he seems to have quit RU-vid. I used to love his builds and mods.
Quite phenominal how far the game has come and how cool the forcefull decpressurization was. and then they removed it for whatever reason I do not know but I do know a mod has re-added that feature and said mod even allows you to configure how forcefull it is but honestly wow, space engineers has come a long way.
