Fromsoft: Here's a really cool AOW/spell that does a lot of damage if you perform the whole animation. Also Fromsoft: It also has no hyperarmor, all the bosses have infinite poise, tiny openings and do a shitton of damage so goodluck.
@captnweasle there were a lot of attacks that felt like rng like the flying fire breath, which he didn't use here at all somehow, and stuff like lightning hitting me, fire bouncing off a wall lmao. Also, moments where some attacks just aren't dodgeable based on the character's position relative to Bayle or the walls.
4:06 you can see I'm using radagon's for +5 on str and dex, and millicent's for another +5 on dex, meeting the requirements. Radagon's also gives a bit more stamina, along with the physick that increases stamina.
I was actually thinking about using prayerful strike for a trading build, with Malenia's great rune and one of the new physicks. I don't really use that ash much, though.
Good stuff! My RL1 strategy revolved around using tiche and the blade of death to melt his HP, then go ham with dual curved swords after making him crash into the wall during the omega laser. I love the black flame tornado tech though. I forget just how good that AoW is. I’ll have to remember it if I’m ever feeling crazy enough to fight this guy in NG+
There aren’t any buffs other than what looks like talismans, and you just have to use skill to get there at lvl 1, it’s hard but not even remotely impossible
