Nice video. We don't use heating in the day, but would like the heating to come on for a couple of hours before getting up. But I can't see a way of doing this. I suppose I could put default setting to a low value eg 5c and turn water off, then set a night mode from say 05:30 to 07:00 with temp at 20c to warm the vehicle up?
Hi. It is correct that you can set a low temperature value on the control panel to avoid heating up the vehicle. You also have the day mode which you can use to set a different temperature. Using the two different timer settings (night and day mode) and the "normal" mode gives you three different time slots to adjust the temperature. So if you for example would like to have the heating on for a bit in the evening, that would also be possible. Warm regards, Ida at Alde.
I come across recently a video on how to blow out water for winterising water system with air. either buy the ready made kit, or as I did, saved alot of money and made the kit up myself. following the instruction from RU-vid, I was able to remove an extra 0.7Litres from the water system, therefore protecting the water system/pipes/ pipe couplings from frost damage. the other plus side is no stagnant water left in the system. link below ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-U3n1Q6pey3g.html I always do that before leaving site, as 1litre=1kg of water, nominally in the water heater there's 8.4 litres of water then what's in the pipes is extra weight= fuel usage.

Love the Alde systems, hade used them in multiple vehicles and even cabins, but I don’t think they’ll make it big in the vanlife community until you develop a system with diesel heating instead of propane. I know the challenges and that it won’t be nearly as quiet, but in a compact space like a van it makes so much sense to utilize the onboard diesel instead of lugging around propane tanks. So please Alde; make a diesel version of the 3030 😍

Thanks for sharing; very helpful and easy to do, it could save a lot of pain and expense.. It never fails to amaze me the number of times I forget to close the taps before connecting the water and turning on the pump. Usually results in a mad dash turning the taps off...
