Burgman is the established standard. It is obvious that Yamaha just tried to copy what works. With parts, forums, support and design... it is obvious the Burgman is the shizzle.
ironically i just bought my truck Friday and noticed this afterwards. Maybe they "finish" the higher level trims. Surely will be ordering mine soon. Thank you
I would run the engine prior to the change personally , debris (fine metal wear particles and carbon) that have settled out of the oil during days of standing end up sitting on the floor of the oil pan , these will become suspended in the oil again when the engine is run and then hopefully be drawn out with the oil as it drains, doing it your way could allow an ever increasing amount of debris to be left sitting in the pan at every consecutive oil change and be suspended and sent around the engine at the next start up, that’s my theory and at the end of the day it’s what the manufacturer tells you to do, they tend to know best in my experience 🙂👍
Hey I known it's not grill related but I have a question for you I need your opinion a 2006 Suzuki Burgman 650 executive with 16,000 miles is it worth $2,600??
A lot of it depends on how well it’s been taken care of. Some of the earlier models did have some issues with the belt, so you wanna make sure that everything was well taken care of and maintained.
@@ManCaveMayhemHello There, I would love to buy it but all I can afford is $1,200. I live in Arizona, about 550 miles from you. I would have to rent a motorcycle trailer plus gas , food , hotel, to get to your location. Please sell it to me , please .
@@ManCaveMayhemDo you have an Email address so I may communicate with you in private about the scooter motorbike ,please ? I have an additional idea offer for you.
You’re going to need to access it from the panels you gotta get back to the latch or trace the cable back to where you can get a hold of part of the cable and pull it open.
Also I have a problem with the parking brake..kr will not push the brake pads into the disk enough to stop the scooter from rolling..the pass a good but I don't know where they were purchased because the scooter is use when I bought it .the lever that pushes the pads in is all working.the cable and spring are at Max adjustment..but the lever on the brake caliper will not push the pads in far enough. Thanks Fred
Can you please tell places that I can buy parts for the scooter..I have the same one as you are working on in this video..I have tried amazone and eBay .but I can't find everything I might need..is there a parts store that you buy from? Thanks for this video.I am about to do the same check and repair you have done.
I still own my 2005 ram. The only real issue is the famous rusty wheel wells.( I'm on the east coast). which im going to tackle now. I'm not going to get rid of it till it totally rots out.
@@maninacan.6285 I really don’t know why I had such bad luck with it but it put a real sour taste in my mouth. I guess it’s just a Crap shoot these days with new trucks 🤷♂️
Got this for my Trident and cannot figure out how to install it. Unlike the Scrambler there is nothing for it to mount to…I emailed them and they sent the same instructions I got in the box LOL.
So sorry to hear about your truck problems. I have an old tundra that that that is not very pretty, but super reliable. Go for a newer coyote, pentastar or 2.5 gen tundra. Mpg suck but you won’t have to worry about engine problems.
Looks like I’ll be rolling in a F150 for a while. Fingers crossed. It lasts longer than the Ram🤞I actually was heading to Toyota in 2021 During Covid and decided to stop at Dodge. Big mistake! Thanks for your comment, my friend and thanks for watching👍🏻
You should have known before you even step on the Dodge stealership property, then it blew up after the 1st time and you didnt dump that POS, you anit to smart. Sorry for your troubles but you asked to get kick in the Nuts
I’ve been a Chevy guy for over 30 years. My 2015 Silverado has been so many problems I’ll never buy another GM product. When this one finally cost more than it’s worth, I’ll be buying a Toyota. My wife had a Ford when we first got married, and the dealers screwed us around so much with transmission issues I’ll never even think about buying another. Don’t even get me started on electric vehicles🤣🤣🤣
@@opichocal you are feeling the same way I’m feeling I don’t know who to trust anymore. I guess nobody.🤣 I think right now it’s like going to Vegas and rolling the dice. Some vehicles are built well in summer not it almost doesn’t matter the brand anymore to me. It seems like everything sucks when it comes to buying a new vehicle.🇺🇸👍🏻 I am feeling your pain💯 hope all is going well. Otherwise my friend.
I’ve never seen anything like that. You would have to search the Internet. I would think that would be something that somebody would have to make for you. Or maybe just find a shorter shock that would adapt to the bike.
Thank you Mr. Caveman ! Your video guide helped me ! I just installed them . I wanted a make a video as well but I called it quits in the middle of making it as I got my hands dirty ! Now I know how difficult it is to make video and edit Cheers 🍻 😊
I had a 650 for a couple of years and it was the most practical motorcycle I'd ever had. All that storage, decent weather protection, and still exciting in sport mode. I just can't with CVT - it's a great technology but I could never get away from the feel of driving the bike rather than *riding* the bike. So, I swapped it for a big chromed out cruiser I could put more of my own stank on an tinker with, and now I have the mechanical gear shift that I just think makes me feel more connected to the ride. Still, I do miss the Burgman once in a while.
