It's dependent on the service department manager and the quality and knowledge of each individual tech. Can vary wildly from dealer to dealer, brand to brand.
2023 Toyota wouldn't start up because of a wireless key error. The wireless function didn't work. The official Toyota dealership couldn't fix this over the phone, neither could Toyota support. Few days later a random independent mechanic we knew came up and said "Just hold the key against ignition when starting and it will use a backup transmitter" which worked flawlessly. Surprised Toyota couldn't figure that out.. (Fyi normally the key transmits wirelessly from a distance)
What can be easier than torquing wheels? It's more likely the guy has never seen a shop from the inside and lied about his credentials, or maybe you need a better story 😂
Sometimes its a huge cost difference.. i just went to autozone for a cargo door lock actuator and they wanted 120 and on Amazon for an aftermarket part it was 25..
Good video Try to remain more still when shooting video. Small movements appear exaggerated. Stage acting is diff- on camera- Remain as still as possible. Not stiff, less movements. Thx nice video
Thank you for the educational video! Btw taping my heels together with my flip-flops or sneakers never worked up until I tried the shiny red pumps, along with the three driving suggestions. I have a vehicle that primarily sits most of its life, and bi-yearly when it's due for the bullshit Californian SMOG check, those drive cycle suggestions have always helped me pass. The continuous driving at a steady speed of 55mph ( without ) cruise control, air / air-conditioning / and or heat for a solid 15 miles, along with the natural coasting breaking cycles.
Dealing with this on my cobalt. I think I hear the compressor kick on once in a while but no cold air, when hooked to my ac tool to check the level and it immediately goes to max on the guage. Thoughts?
I have diesel engine its water pump fails for the third time in a two and half month. What other possible causes will it causes to leak through exhaust? Note it is working every day at least for 8 hours six or seve days a week. Thank you for your answer in advance
Is it possible that the ECU can cause an engine knocking mostly from a cold start, then taper off while it’s warming up ? Or if there is a knocking it will be there the whole time while the engine is running? Is it possible that just a portion of the programming could be off ?
i assume you are aiming this at Mr. Average. clutch - good tip as to the need for pressures, not really . . . feel the hoses, if one is very cold it's working and the problem might be in the air box . . . if both are only so-so, it's probably the compressor. unless, of course, it's something else . . . like the condenser or the fan . . . or ...
Hi, I got Chek engine light on my hona crv 2007 2,4 was canceled it with discounted the battery, and computer, but uts cone back. Today I was driving and light gone, after 10miles comeback. Can be reson bad quality if gas ⛽️ ??? Or sensor is,bad ?
What i do is is, put 2 fingers over the holes and soin the pulley and clutch..if it dont suction your fingers, thrn it wont pump good..i founf that trick out by just playing with it..im new to all of this..im in my diy mode lol
And as a ford technician I will tell you just do the oil change because I do 25 30 car a day we do forget to check something because we are doing 3 to 5 car by myself at a time and tire rotation should be every 10,000 miles not every 3,000 to 5,000 miles every 10,000
You're only doing 25-30 a day and you're missing things? Do you only work a 4 hour shift or something? That's low numbers for a crappy valvoline in a small town. Yall need better training or a better system, it's that simple.
Is there a way for the average person to tell if the AC just needs to be charged or if the compressor is bad? I've had my car since 2008 and never charged the AC and never had issues. Also, it was very quick to get cold and it would get VERY cold. Then, I noticed about a week ago that it was taking longer than normal to get cold, but it still did get cold. Then, one morning, I turned it on and it was just blowing out warm air. It's not making any weird noises or anything. It's just blowing out warm/hot air. Thank you.
If you dont read a check list ? Im going to a different mechanic right after . Good for you brother, i agree checklist are important. I cant tell you how many times ive seen guys forget things , if only they had some sort of paper that they could check off. 😂
Are they really worried about the atmosphere?... NO. If they were they would design a system that doesn't leak off near as much and we couldn't buy froen off the shelf. They tell us it's bad for the ozone but then place rubber seals in the lines that go bad in a few years, when compressed copper seals like used on some break lines and last for decades without removal.
