Hi! I had a couple questions regarding Emperor. I've heard 4NM2D is higher ceiling, but I'm relatively new to Emperor and can't see why it would be better than 6NM. Also looking at the lostarknexus guide it seems that there should be downtime with dominion buff without C/J or awakening, is this the case or is there something I'm missing? Thank you!
when youre in addiction, with 2p dominion you lose 10% damage but gain 18% cdr which reduces the awkward downtime you have after your addiction rotation when youre in boundless, with 2p dominion you lose 2% cdr (basically nothing) but gain 10% damage compared to 6p nightmare. since you have a 70-80% boundless uptime the damage gain is huge you can maintain 100% dominion if you: -awaken in boundless -awaken with moon active in either boundless or addiction -awaken with wheel of fortune in either boundless or addiction before entering a gate / guardian you should always equip awakening 3 (with either books or accessories) -> awakening -> swap back

if you miss stream youre missing out on 27.6% crit and stacks for your rain ( my A skill) missing stream is pretty bad but not the end of the world, just get lucky on crits
@@neongott ah got it, maybe my bad from this class, always waiting stream edge for using main yellow skill, and not using skill at all until cd stream edge, like evoke after stream for opening skill ty".
@@rhzhidansandikadewa261 ideally you dont use your stream of edge if you dont have any of your damage skills up, but you should still be using your damage skills even if stream of edge is on cooldown
I play empress Arcana, and i have so much trouble to be consistent and high dps, this is insane to see such a good arana player, emperor was not an option for me since it's too spammy, but finally empress is too, i hope i would get close to your level someday haha !
@@neongott Yeah i have like 2 questions, why do you think there is so little representation of emperor in KR (loawa ranking ilvl, it's pretty meaningless but still) compared to in our region ? What do you think is the more accessible in term of gameplay to reach the ceilling, emperor or empress ?
@@suesun2675 why are there fewer emperors in kr? i guess they just assume that empress is better than emperor? which it might be idk, but if i compare logs from our region it makes me think that emperor > empress. or they simply just enjoy playing empress more which engravings ceiling is more accessible? thats hard for me to answer since i have very little expierience on empress, but if i had to guess id say its slightly easier on emperor, since emperor can almost always hit the boss, while empress requires you to be closer to the boss for your stacking skills, therefore if the boss does a bad pattern you cant hit
i think the play is to take at least 1 wealth rune on either evoke or DR, what you put it on is personal preference. wealth gives you a bit more meter on evokes, but I dislike how slow evokes feel without galewind, that's why I play galewind on evoke and wealth on DR. if you don't care about the speed at all then you can just go double wealth, (which is probably the highest ceiling?). with that being said I change my opinion on runes like every day so maybe I already have a new opinion tomorrow 😭
rn in a 10 min test i parse about 44.7 and my best 2 min parse was about 49 mil. this is with a +20 echidna weapon tho. by the time I recorded that video echidna wasn't released yet so a bit less than 44.7
yes it is. if you remember to maintain your dom its straight up better than 6nm. you can maintain it by using your awakening in boundless or you can use your awakening in addiction if you have a moon. or you can just wheel your awakening
having galewind on dark res / evoke for sure makes pressing the button feel a lot better but i think the sacrifice in card draw might be to big i recently swapped from galewind to leg. wealth on evoke and on average i get like 1 more card / min in thaemine g3 now probably gonna test wealth on both dark res and evoke in the next couple of days
the idea behind galewind on dark res / evoke was that if for example if you have 1.5 cards and you draw a card with COD or stampede you waste the .5 card from your meter. so if your meter is *kinda* useless so why play wealth. but apparently i was wrong and wealth is still really good
i want to see how big the difference in cards/min is with wealth on evoke compared to galewind in this pull i had like 1 more card/min compared to my other g3 clears but maybe i just played better i made the change on the day of the recording so i dont want to draw any conclusions yet
@@neongott oh ok, and also ive seen that some arcanas started using dark mater the crit dmg tripod on cod, instead of the 20% card gamble so u can make ur rain hit in crit dmg buff, did u try it or its like w/e ?
@@Adi55-5 i dont think its good the only time id play it is in fights where you have to counter a lot so you can hold your return. but I don't think that fight exists

i have 131% attackspeed by default. yearning and boundless give me 12% attackspeed each. since attack speed is capped at 140%, I'm basically attackspeed capped at any point. i also play legendary galewind on evokes.
your rotation is still the same: opener: stream -> 2x evoke -> dark res -> return -> call of destiny -> rain -> shuffle -> 2x stampede after that prioritise dark res and evoke > rain and shuffle make sure you press return and stream to maintain the buffs on yourself with level 7s and 8s you dont have to spacebar cancel your shuffle to press dark res or evoke that often you can also check out arcana hell mode vods since you only have level 8s in hell
