Mentour Pilot has a good episode explaining turbulence. Mild, moderate, heavy, extreme. From what I gathered this looks mild to maybe moderate. He said in over 16 yrs flying he'd seen heavy only once, extreme never.
Hi. I saw in your other films form September from Punta Cana that there was a new Business Class. And in this flight is old one. Is there any rules? And what is your thoughts about differences between those flights.
Hi ! Thanks for the comment. Indeed, Air France has been retrofitting its old cabins for 2 years now on these type Boeing 777s. The new 3rd generation business class is very comfortable. All the very wide seats are full access with a 2-meter flat bed, practical storage, a large screen... in a very cozy spirit. A real "French" service !! The only downside is that when you are traveling in pairs you cannot benefit from a window. For night flights it is less annoying. This is why I also like the old versions. Air France top 10 in the skytrax ranking for its business class. Enjoy !
A VERY GOOD PILOT, & FOR ALL STAFF, WITH GOOD SERVICES,,AIR MAURITIUS FLIGHTS, STAY &DO GOOD FOR ALL PASSENGERS,,THANKS A LOT FOR YOUR SERVICES..,HOTES IS VERY AGAREBLE
That's nothing. Some years ago flying down to Madeira we were hit side on by the jet stream, that was rough. Had to descend several thousand feet to get out of it.
Nothing flew off the trays?? No orders to drop everything into the aisle?? No 'stop all service immediately' order from the Captain?? That is NOT turbulence.
The trouble with the B777-300 is that the wing is a bit marginal in performance. At most a loaded 777-300 will get up to 34,000 feet for most of its cruise, so you end up in more weather. The 777-200’s will cruise easily at 38,000 as the fuel burns off and will even make 40,000ft in the last hours of a long flight. You will never see a 777-300 at 40,000ft
