Hi there Purple fans I can honestly say that i'm one of the biggest DP fans in my country (not to mention the fact that i met all current members of DP, including my idol Ian, and one former member Glenn Hughes) so because of those facts i made this channel especially for all purple family lovers around the world. I will try to put all those unseen footage, that doesn't even exsit on youtube. I also have a huge collection of music and concerts, not just DP family, but all greatest performers of British rock music from 60's and 70's. So i want from all of you to enjoy as best as you can with my videos and of course rare footage.
Удивительно, до сих пор не слышал оригинального исполнения этой вещи. Звучит супер, особенно чувак на бэках доставляет - обалденно, хоть и с клавишами в унисон
I love this version because I didn't know about it when I started digging Rainbow's version, which is AWESOME. I'm impressed with the vocals here because they don't get absolutely blown away by Rainbow's version. So, to me, it's kinda like comparing the live version of Cheap Trick's "I Want You To Want Me" to the studio version: One version is a classic, the other is interesting in contrast.
Hey now but notbjustbabout Gillan's voice, awesome indeed, but focus on all the other players, , like Townes! McCoy! Bernie! Or Gers? Cantv I dentify keep em straight! But also thebrecentltbpassed Mic Underwood
Cozy broke the record for drumming on 400 drums in one minute on Record Breakers. Talented guy and was a nice guy. Killed at the age of 50, far too soon
This is not good guitar playing. Just witless, cliched and unimaginative. I've just been listening to what a great guitarist sounds like (Leslie West) and now stumbled onto this monstrosity by John Sykes. Dreadful. It should go without saying that this is just my opinion but I did think that some of the jean creaming comments about Sykes on here deserved some pushback.
I always loved Cozy, since his Rainbow days. To me, he is the greatest drummer ever, the guy everybody wanted in their band. And that ability he had to adapt to any different situation. There are many great drummers all over, but only one Cozy Powell. I miss him, I always wonde what he would be doing today. In addition, he was kind, funny, easy goimg, charmimg, an adorable man. That's the Cozy I see and I want to cherish in my heart forever. PS: he played as he drove... madly. To which we can add: he spoke as he played... madly!! Haha!! 😆😆 he spoke so quickly!!! Part of his charm and funny self... PS 2: I love the F1 images in the video, the fight against Nelson Piquet and Eliseo Salazae, in the German GP in 1982. Hilarious!! (Btw, I am a big motor racing fan!!)
