Woody took this part in part because the character was similar to his real life father who was a mob hit man who was convicted of killing a federal judge.
It's unfortunate that you will probably never be able to enjoy jjk to its fullest. Gege akutami (the mangaka of jjk) is often criticized for putting the power system above the characters, and this will only become more apparent. It gets to a point where without paying attention to the small details given about the power system, many moments will be empty because you won't really get what's happening. This is in part what started the "reading comprehension curse" meme. This is contrary to other battle shonen contemporaries such as mha, csm or kny (demon slayer), where the power system is used as a plot device to create the situations that the mangaka wants.
Hmm, I always struggle where I stand whenever this happen in any story. Because would this be considered the audience's fault for not paying attention or the writer's fault for not presenting it effectively for general audiences/readers? Obviously I'm still enjoying JJK's anime adaptation but I haven't heard much about what manga readers think of the story (obviously to avoid spoilers), especially now that it's finished. "Reading Comprehension Curse" is hilarious though. Gonna use that from time to time now lol.
I know you like the show man but your critiques are so weird... that whole speexh about not needing the small details was indeed weird, earlier you say you dont have enough details on characters but then youre given the details on other stuff and you dont want it?
??? There are macro details that are important for the overall understanding of a story and character and there are micro details that works more like trivia/fun facts that aren't necessarily important to the overall understanding of the show in general. JJK has a lot of the latter (which is fine), but this isn't exclusive to just JJK, and I think you're looking too much into what I said when they're not even major critiques to begin with.
@@SILENTSORA-cw9mjhe says it in a less inflamatory way than I typed it during ep 7 discussion but still he says the argument that pretentious dumbasses on twitter use all the time to shit on jjk
@@Trade4Lewt You're misinterpreting the fact that I was using that argument as a compliment specifically for season 1. Common criticism of JJK S1 was most of the cast felt stereotypical and not much character development has happened at that time, and I was saying that despite if people think this way, it's a strength of the show that I still find a lot of enjoyment and excitement.
@@mattragelgive me an example of a character that is 1dimensional in season 1 tho ? Fucking Momo the side character from kyoto school? Utahime the kyoto school leader teacher who we dont know much YET probably because her time to shine hasnt come yet ? We got amazing character development on Maki and her sister, amazing development on Mechamaru, alot of Megumi ... I just dont get why this is your ammo on a 24 ep season 1 show
@@Trade4Lewt Bro chill and relax. It was never ammo to begin with. I don't get why you're trying to beef with someone who's positive about season 1 anyways.
My take on that girl in episode 6 losing that much weight is that she has some sort of "stress" curse kinda like that curse who was touching that girl with her mom in jjk0, the curse is low tier so it doesnt kill her but it affects her physically
Curiosity: “Yooto” was the episode director and storyboarder for part A of the episode and it was his DEBUT in this position, he’s a VERY young animator that have a lot of influence from studio trigger(the animation style itself shows this). He literally entered in the industry in 2021, and in 2 years already debuted as director, this is extremely impressive.
Kinda late but u hella smart. Predict everthing and the first I ever saw in these reaction talking about the philosophy of the movie. Which is the revenge and truth. Lee woo Jin free him from a physical prison just to lock him in a more deprive one. Because he can only weep alone with the truth
You have to wonder what led to Walter's careless mistake that revealed him to Hank. This man was so paranoid that he threw out the Lily of the Valley after using it, a totally excessive measure of caution, but he kept a book with a murdered meth cook's handwriting in it in his family bathroom.
I have no idea. Ego maybe or something. All he had to do was lock that book up. He got careless and it was pretty much all downhill for him from there as of this point.
RU-vid has been failing me, it used to recommend these BB reactions right after you’d post. I’m here now though! Another awesome batch of episodes, I guess the next video will be the conclusion!!! I hope you get into the movie and Better Call Saul after you finish, they’re definitely worthy additions to the story you would get a lot from (especially Better Call Saul).
The pay off is incredible. The moment Hank finally discovers the truth about Walt, the confrontation, and then the curve ball - Walt blackmailing Hank with everything that has occurred between them throughout the entire series like the ride-alongs, stakeouts, & medical bills. This is peak cinema 🤌 Like him or not but Walt is an Aizen level evil genius mastermind
I didn't really know what to expect from this show, but I love how everyone's reaction is always: "WTF IS HAPPENING" and just goes along for the ride 🤣 Very curious where this show will go
What's with the cat? You'll find out later :) Nice reaction, it's extremely refreshing to watch someone who engages with the show in a way that's not forcibly over the top; and who can appreciate how the episode was crafted (with the use of shots, colours, music etc.)
No wonder they showed the first 3 episodes in cinemas - its cinema quality. 🎥🎦 I was most impressed with the camera angles/perspectives/camera distortions, they really seem to have a good grasp on this stuff. And overall, it feels like a candy - the colors pop, the style is striking, it feels fresh and modern . Really excited for this show (i also only read about 4 chapters of it). Hopefully you will continue reactions for this series, the show seems to be quite popular and absolutely "bananas" too😄
