A Lone Swordsman Becomes The Shadow Beneath Dark Skies...
I am currently posting videos of Gundam Battle Operation 2. I love playing raid, and I chronicle my trials and tribulations in my Raid Life series. I am also Clan Leader of Lunatic Wolf (LUW).
In the course of carrying out my mission, I unfortunately got caught within the target area of the enemies support fire, severely damaging my Mobile Suit. Despite the fact that I survived the attack, I was no longer combat effective and would just become a liability to my team. So I took advantage of the lull in battle and RTB'ed back to base. There is no point in giving the enemy team easy points.
I beg to differ, sir. We ended up winning this battle handedly. Because of my opening gambit, the enemy Pixy spent the entire match trying to kill me instead of going after our support. I was able to bait him into our generals, get the jump on him, and do my job suppressing the enemy support. A properly used Pixy is one of the most dangerous suits imo. But I do understand the hate that it generates out of some players.
@Moonmoon1p Nope. Sometimes, your just on a team of competent players who know their role and do their jobs. Both my team and the enemy team did well in that regard. Except one player on each team. The Powered GM on ours and the Whaterver Dom on the enemy team. Our GM Powered lvl 3 was clearly outmatched against the 2 Mk II's and the G7 and the enemy team's raid was just a non factor the entire match.
That was some dope piloting ngl. This was right after they buffed the Jegan. That's why my Nightseeker teammate, who was an S-, as was the Jegan pilot for that matter, just got erased by that grenade. He was still at 1/3 health too. Then he came at me on some hero shit. Had to do something to get out of that situation...
Yeah. That Loto did a real number on me. Nothing more I can do to contribute to the team in that condition. I was also ready to spearhead against their final push while my team sorties back in. Took out both generals clogging up the pipe.
That's awesome! But to be perfectly honest, setting a record wasn't my goal. Learning how to use the Hi-Nu to it's full potential is. I want to get that aggressive playstyle down pat, so I can be more effective with it in 700 cost matches...
@QanT141 I wanted a more aggressive experience. I wanted that never ending rush of combatants trying to take me on with teammates at my side. It's a better simulation for real fights imo.
@QanT141 Well, yes and no. The suit is not the easiest to use. It's like you have to reign it in so it won't go too wild on you. Not to mention, it can't take much of a beating, which seems to be lore accurate.
@0:16 If you skirted along to the left you could have boosted up there using less thrust than the jump, but other than that you found **FRESH MEAT** lol, nice!
I'm liking the toolkit of the silver Haze, btw were you trying to control your melee strikes, there were a few times you could have striked a second or even a third time with the trident since melee combo controller also works on it, anyways gg, most polite silver Haze I've seen so far lol
Yep! Our conversation last night made me realize how easy it would be to knock down my teammates and leave them in a bad spot. Our Jeda player sure appreciated it. There were a couple spots I could have got more in but there health was low enough for an easy mop up and assist points. I just focused on keeping that support bottled up and backing up my teammates when needed.
Not going to lie you kinda let your mates do the heavy lifting. Never seen a raid played like a support. Regardless 9-0 at A level is still quite the achievement. Nice match
I just took what the other team gave me. A raid's job is 1. Suppress the support MS. 2. Take out the other raid. 3. Divert and distract the enemy frontline generals. I believe I did all three. As for playing like a support, the Gundam Unit 5 was developed to work in tandem with the Unit 4 to provide cover fire and protection. It's a range raid that has the tools to accomplish that and I utilized those tools.
Ah yes! You realized that. Yes you are 100% correct. I could have been more aggressive. But I know that Hazel Custom Pilot's style. He's a counter puncher. He makes you pay for mistakes. On that map, it's especially easy to get surrounded so I used careful positioning and kept my head on a swivel for that nightseeker too. He's also good. I was also able to put a dead stop to their final push too. That definitely sealed the win. If you noticed in the final minute they all came after me so I did something right.
@@andrewac1096 Absolutely. I was considering that red and dark motif myself but I usually reserve that for my Zeon MSs. Plus I wanted it to share a similar scheme with my Hazel Custom.
SniperCR's Absolute Shadow you should 4x Speed trash like this by the way. It saves having to tap through 30 seconds at a time and it would still be longer than most 1v1 videos lol. Please learn how to fly.
@@tkm-zmeya5209 Man this is my first time even using editing crap. I'll get the hang of it. Call it trash all you want. This was a display of skills exhibited by both pilots. I'm sorry it doesn't measure up to your lofty standards, but I'm not you. If you want to see a fixed plasma battle I will refer you to my fight with CarloBangBang.
SniperCR's Absolute Shadow There’s no skill here. It’s you endlessly tumbling like a broken npc for 25 minutes and fungi missing most of his shots then you occasionally doing damage for a couple seconds.
@@tkm-zmeya5209 It's not tumbling and you know it. Fungi missed those shots because I either baited him into taking bad shots or I just straight up dodged them, not to mention dodging his hammer at times which can be really difficult. The only time I actually tumble is when I'm using my right panel.
