I am from Croatia, I went through the Serbian aggression against Croatia in 1990-1995 The Mig21Bis is exclusively a fighter and an interceptor built for that purpose. It is capable of charging at speeds up to 2.3. Mach and with that we defeated over 200 Serbian MiG 29 and Croatian Galeb training planes that the Serbs seized from us. Mig is Fast and Interceptor. Desault Raphale cannot achieve 2.3. mach speed (its fastest is 1.8 Mach) and it is a multirole plane. Croatia will leave 12 refurbished mig21 bis in service because they are simply flying rockets. Although the Desault Raphale fully digital plane will be the backbone of the mig21, it will remain as a basic Dog-Fight plane. And Serbia will not be able to buy the Desault Raphale because they support Russia in the aggression against Ukraine and because they are "friends with China" and the Desault Raphale carries Aesa and other American equipment. If Serbia could buy the Desault Raphale, INDIA would give up buying and opening a production center in India. for Desault Raphale, because if you sell Raphale to Serbia, it's like you sold it to China or Russia (they would know everything about it) Croatia is part of N.A.T.O. and E.U. and Shenhen, Serbia is not and will never be in NATO because it continues to buy Russian SU-300 and Su-400 anti-aircraft missiles. Croatia has always been the richest member country (of the Yugoslav Federation), and all the billions from Croatia went to Belgrade, that's why we and wanted to leave Yugoslavia (also the Serbian U.D.B.A. and their Tito killed more than 1 million Croats from 1945-1990 because we were Catholics. N.A.T.O., C.I.A. and America know this well, the Serbs then committed the Genocide in Srebrenica and Ovcara (Croatia) Erdogan They will never forgive them, and America helped Croatia and still helps them militarily. They participated in the military operations Storm and Lightning, in which Croatia liberated 1/3 of the occupied territory in just 72 hours. When the other NATO countries saw this, they threatened with 200,000 U.N. and NATO forces if we attack Serbia and liberate Croatian territory in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Today, Serbia wants to attack the Republic of Croatia again and want to seize 1/3 of Bosnia and Herzegovina and declare it "Serbia". is the C.I.A. director on 8/25/2024 and flew to Bosnia and Herzegovina to punish the little terrorist Milorad Dodik. Serbia would love to attack Croatia, but they know that if they do it because of our Raphales and Migos, Belgrade would end up in Rusevini and that's it.

Tactical lasers are the answer to hypersonic missiles and aircraft. Hypersonic still cant outrun light. Just a few space based high power lasers can take out pretty much any incoming aircraft or missile. And the benefit of having space based lasers is they can be charged directly from the sun.
Frank Kendall said that NGAD needs to have twice the operational radius of the F35 at the same cost as the F35. This is because China has developed ultra-long-range anti-aircraft missiles that can target tankers. The weapon bay can be the same size as the F35 because the CCA (Collaborative Combat Aircraft) carries the missiles. The US Navy also needs a fighter with twice the operational radius of the FA18. Stealth is the lowest requirement for carrier-based aircraft because the weapon bay is difficult to install and remove missiles. The new design of GCAP meets the requirements of both the US Air Force and the US Navy. The US Navy needs twin-engine aircraft. Let's work with Boeing to get the US Air Force and US Navy on board. Lockheed Martin could create a revised NGAD by enlarging the wings and fuel tanks of the F-35. Fighters would have to visually identify friendly targets with broken identification friend or foe systems before firing a missile. If missile launches were left to the Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA), there would be no need for a weapons bay, reducing manufacturing and maintenance costs.
Its a huge boost to Boeing and its contractors. It will secure tenths of thousands of well paying American jobs and livelihood of thousands of American families
at least the airbus leonardo 139 is not a 57 yrs old helicopter with 21st century engines on it like the Max... the crew will get to live another day. .. european hardwear so much better than the US...
GCAP has been the most stable sixth generation project to date. It has taken the sensible route to progress, it has three major tech countries as it's project leaders, all who wish for the same type of aircraft, and all of whom do not fight over who is the best. While other projects try to shout they are the superior, GCAP just keeps going. This aircraft will come to pass because it has been thought out fully by it's designers, and by the country's who back it. Not to expensive, not to boastful, an aircraft built to go to war, and to be the best that it can be with all the factors taken into account.

E model's capes are overkill for Poland as they'll only get full access to the entire Link 16 and TADIL-J full integration when they're fighting a NATO war with other players like AWACS etc ... but it'll probably be FMS dollar funded by US taxpayers with the bulk of the money going to Boeing so Poland might as well buy the most expensive stuff we'll sell them.
I don't think you are up to date with your info regarding Polish forces' integration and access to Link 16. Polish SOF and Navy have been using it for 10 years now. We have our own AWACS and data operating centres. We have our own type of TADIL. We use our own BMS. Every Polish MBT APC IFV or SPG is equipped with it. Overkill? For a war with a superpower? Are you out of your mind? That's not AFG or Iraq. Daily numbers of causalities are toping WWII. There is a reason the Soviets intervened in Czechoslovakia, and Hungary during the Cold War. Then they invaded Afghanistan. There is a reason they made a step back when we rioted in 1981 and 1989 when we started the entire eastern block collapse. For this short period, they didn't want to fight. At the peak of their military strength. They have not invaded and not pacified uprisings in Poland. A few years later Russia invaded Chechnia. Twice. That's a bit weird. Isn't it?
@@HanSolo__ Great update on where the world has gone during my retirement; I was a A+/C guy ... capes of Link16 depends on full integration with other wpns systems. I only had TADIL in USAF not while in ArmyAvn so I'm surprised all NATO is now integrated give how USA loves to turn friends into Foes. But even if USA turned off the satlink/feed some E capes are good upgrades even stand alone so I get why they want it.
NGAD WILL BE CUT FOR THE SAME REASON ALL "DOMINANCE US MILITARY SYSTEMS" ARE CUT, as the Seawolf, F-22, and Zumwalt. A FAIRYLAND CONGRESS DOESN'T GIVE A S#!t THAT THERE ARE 2 COUNTRIES OUT THERE THAT "INTEND" TO HAND AMERICA HER AZZ. The Only factors holding them back is -- EXTREME FEAR OF US MIL-TECHNOLOGY! And that's what a fairyland Congress & Oval Office WILL CUT!
The F-16V would be a good choice if you look at the training aircraft FA-50 that is designed for pilots to learn how to fly the F-16. However looking at the terrain and the familiarity with the Mirage the Rafale is the most obvious choice. Only two aircraft in such a small is a logistically sound choice.
