Misty has Togepi, Goldeen, Staryu, Psyduck & Poliwhirl during this movie. I hate that we never got to see poliwhirl in this battle. I don’t think she has Corsola quite yet considering it’s her main Pokémon in the 5th movie & Brock’s Zubat hadn’t evolved yet in this one
9 gens later and Misty is still the only official water gym leader to have done true underwater battles. When XY had introduced sky battles, I hoped they would do water battles later on.
Did 4kids ever take this and use it in the TV episodes, like they did with some of their movie music. I don't remember hearing it apart from in this movie which is a shame
As a kid i was so mad that molly would just beat up brock and misty that badly. I forgot vulpix wasnt even a fighter, but but brock let her get dizzy punched to hell anyway. 💀🤣
I was so overwhelmed when I seen so many of this part of the movie. When I was 7 in 04, my mind was going nuts about 2 guys just fighting each during this music. I was thinking Shadowgeist from Street fighter EX3 going against Ichigo from Bleach. Yes I knew it sounds stupid about a character from a game and from an anime would interact to make it interesting. But I just wanted to share it.
