The industry is evil. They were entataniers. Plus they got mad aftee they didnt want to keep it up then exposed them. The singers, the producees should have been punished for that. They funded and develeped the who scam.
I still like their music, but if this is the kind of music they made after the reveal, it's understandable why they went broke, this is horrible, childish, cheesy, the producer was right.

That’s exactly how I feel. I’ve been so sad watching these videos and interviews so heartbreaking. They were very talented very energetic, very passionate, phenomenal, entertainers performers and dancers, and they could actually really sing love their accent.💯🙏🏾
It’s Frank Farians fault. They wanted to sing but weren’t allowed to. They were told they would be in violation of their contract if they did. I always felt sorry for Rob and Fab .

Rob Pilatus' voice was close enough to the deeper tone of both of the ghost singers, that he could have credibly been passed off as the voice behind Milli Vanilli who does both the singing and rapping (as when rapping you naturally use a different voice than singing), aided by a big number of takes and studio mixing to explain why his studio performance is more on point. Fab could have been passed off as singing along the background vocals, but in order to make them more marketable as a duo, they had Fab lip-syncing to Rob's parts too. That's kinda what Wham did too, where Andrew Ridgley barely performed in any song other than background vocals. And then quietly trained their singing voices and let them actually perform more and more parts on future releases. If they really wanted to, they could have gone that route if they really wanted to and if everyone involved kept silent about the truth, or only came out with it years after the hype already died down. But they definitely could have kept going with hits for a few more years in the 90s. Keep on Running, which was supposed to be the lead single of the second album was still released before the scandal in Europe and for example in my home country Austria it went to number 2 and was the 9th best selling single of the year, indicating people were still hungry for more Milli Vanilli (in the US it only came out after the scandal and was billed under The Real Milli Vanilli and didn't make a dent).

I don’t think this is fair. They had been all over the media with headlines that they were frauds. Very hard to recover after those headlines. Look at Ashlee Simpson post SNL. She never really recovered.
They never released this. The Rob & Fab album was a massive flop but so was the Real Milli Vanilli album. At the end of the day, they all needed each other to make the Milli Vanilli machine work and sell.

Tantos anos depois e acho eles incrível, não importa o que aconteceu eles eram artistas e sabiam o que faziam, faltou só uma oportunidade e aceitação pelas pessoas da época.
