It seems a few amazing slapping scenes are still missing. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-N6NfYkl3Rxc.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fCg6JuYRUFk.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fSo1tRjfb9M.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RxDklFfDAyU.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ff5EFRj7FCw.html This next one happens off-screen, but I think it's worth it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5LgY97erGOg.html
2:07 It's the fake slap noises that takes me out of it. Such cheapness. Olivia though certainly had the energy for slapping just a shame the slapping wasn't better.
Too bad, there were three POTC slap scenes missing: the woman in Tortuga slapping Will in POTC 2, Scarlett and Gisele slapping Jack and Jack slapping Gibbs in POTC 3 and the mermaid's slap in POTC 4.
0:45 That whole restaurant scene in The Glimmer Man is gold Best part is at the end when, after the fight results in quite a bit of damage to the place, Seagal is on his way out when they phone rings and he answers it and says "No, that won't work, we're closed for renovations. I'd say... ( looks around )... 2 months."
@@vintagehighlights Mine too! Another one of my favorite quotes from The Glimmer Man - "We got the badges, we got the guns, you got a screwdriver, it's kinda like, you know, taking a screwdriver to a gunfight" My all-time favorite Seagal movie is Under Siege. He's done some real doozies though, lololol.
@@georgehenderson7783 I believe "Above the Law" is top-shelf! The bar room brawl with the guy named "Sticks". That was the best part of the movie for me.
Vol 1 of 1000, amirite? The script writing in those days was top quality. One of my favourite lines is from Ida Lupino in Road House (1948), she slaps Cornell Wilde and cooly says "Silly boy" as she glides out of frame. Perfection.
Ida Lupino was baaaad lady. Bad meaning strong. Thanks for the comment. I love the film noir because I don't have to cringe when they talk (meaning the bad language movie stars today use).
I agree 100%. I've watched it so much but it doesn't get boring. Just think, Dick Powell used to be in dancing movies. Now he's hard-boiled. Thanks for the comment.
