In South India , in Andhra Pradesh state, the students in colleges call each other as darling even it is boy to boy as for heartily expression. So like that way prabhas also to this addiction word from his college days and when he arrived in movie industry, he used to call everyone as darling in the crew so that way one movie came as darling starring prabhas and from that movie he was entitled as darling prabhas.
