Welcome to my Flosstube! I'm Emily, wife and mama to three, just trying to fit in a few stitches between all the chaos of life here in Greenville, South Carolina.
Whether you're a seasoned stitcher or just picking up your first hoop, I hope my channel is like chatting with a friend over a good cup of coffee. So, grab your hoop and floss, and join my little corner of the stitchy world. Happy stitching! 🧵✨
Cleaning Day is what I have been missing from my life!!! 😂😂 My kids are about to have their lives changed. 🤣. I love your progress on the Fab 50! I can’t wait to see what you pick for teacher gifts. The fabric you dyed looks amazing!
Enjoyed watching you again. I loved the cross stitch that you are doing especially the Fab 50. I wish it was still available. I am doing Poloraid Princesses from Abbie Sue Designs. But I really like the Disney characters. Have a great week and see you soon.
Lovely video. I am stitching the summer Olympics also and like you am changing things as I arrive on the day. Flexibility makes it fun and those that watch us are fine with the changes. 🦉🧵🪡
Oh my gosh so good to see you, I just came back from a retreat in Chicago with Beth Twist and bought the quaker chart. I had you and Danielle on my mind when I was shopping all Heartstring the coffee charts.
Hi! Love your videos and projects. Love the Disney 50 one! I ish I had done it but I already have a couple of Disney ones started. I didn’t know you live in Greenville! We used to live in Anderson, in New Mexico now. Our youngest will be starting Clemson this fall and we are driving her there with her stuff. I plan on going to Panda’s crossing but might have to check out recraft also. 😊
Great video, always love watching I’m glad I found you. Gymnastics and swimming and also my favorite events to watch in the Olympics. You got some really nice buys from your crafty store. It’s nice that you have a place like that to take your kids to and that they like it so much. When my older boys were little they wanted to learn how to stitch so we went to the store and I bought a Looney Toons pattern book that you stitched on plastic canvas with yarn and they loved it. They were really easy patterns. I love your You Got This, it is so cute. Katie_thenovelstitcher is also stitching it. She has a really good FlossTube if you are not watching her. Looking forward to your next FlossTube
@@paulinedean4419 thank you so much for watching! 💙💙 My kids have discovered Looney Toons recently so I bet they would love that too. I will have to check out Katie!
Running to Target to get that notebook and pouch. My kids call my dad and bonus mom Grammy and Papa too. Love your quaker. I haven't been keeping up with my wipgo. I like to stitch what I want too much. Enjoy the rest of summer!!
Enjoyed you very much. I love all of your cross-stitch projects that you are working on. I wish the Disney pattern you are doing, was still available. I really liked that one. I can't wait to see you again.
Another great video! Love your Coffee Quaker .. so cute! Just starting to get more into some of the Quaker Patterns. Will have to look into that one for sure! Have a great week! 😊
Good finishes! I am one of the people who don’t like markup xp. I use pattern keeper a lot to count my stitches. If it’s a paper pattern I count my stitches with just paper and pen or calculator lol
I loved your Flosstube. Could you tell me where l could find the patterns for the stockings? They are wonderful. I want to do them for my family. Thank you.
Thank you so much! Yes, they are on her website. Here is the direct link. www.marybeale.com/shop?category=Sampler+Stockings I hope you love stitching them as much as I did!
You have some fabulous projects. I count my stitches and all I do is count as I highlight stitches I’ve done and then write it down on and add it up at the end of the day
I'm an archivist and definitely don't recommend storing things in the attic if you want them to last a long time because of the wide range of temperature changes. It's not something you might notice in 5 years, but definitely makes a difference over time. Storing them in an archival box with acid free tissue under a bed or in a closet is the best bet for something that's coming out once a year or being stored for a long period of time. Also, I love your intro! I followed you immediately because the font and colors are absolutely my style and I love the patterns you're working on!
@@tripleacosplay thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and stopping by! I will definitely get a box and keep them in my closet from now on, I want them to last! And thank you for your sweet words about my intro, I think it’s so cute. Happy stitching! 🩷🪡
So great to see another of your videos up! I love seeing your projects. I have red Aida “burning a hole” in my cross stitch tote, and Satsuma Street patterns keep calling me… yet again…🤔🥰
@@angelawhite7870 thank you! The red aida was quite fun to stitch on. Satsuma Street patterns are such a beautiful contrast on the red. Let me know if you start one!! 🪡❤️
I am going to the midsummer online retreat. I recently posted four videos on finishing mini stockings…the shaped pillow finish is workable for any shape and could either be done by hand or with sewing machine. Lovely second video.🦉🧵🪡
I love your Disney SAL! The fab 50 one. Any idea where I can get the pattern? My daughter is expecting and I would love to stitch it for the nursery! Thank you and welcome to flosstube😊
@@marygoodenow9011 thank you! Unfortunately the designer, Abbie Sue Designs, has removed all of her Disney patterns, I assume due to copyright. Congratulations to your daughter! I stitched Frosted Pumpkin Samplers for all my children to put in their nursery ❤️
@marygoodenow9011 I did some research and it seems like if you email her or send her a message on Etsy (Abbie Sue Designs) she might be able to help you out! No guarantees but it’s worth a shot 😊
We have quite a bit in common. I love to read and always carry and book with me and I teach for VIP KID. I am a teacher so this summer I opened slots and without the hour they were all booked. I was shocked. It’s been fun to be doing it again, even if for a month.
Emily, so nice to meet you...thanks for sharing all your lovely patterns...after raising 4 children, I know it is a struggle to find time for yourself, best wishes and happy stitching ❤
