Well, I think I was butchering the pronunciation, as I usually do. I looked it up after other comments on this video, and it's closer to "luh-skow", but I still doubt myself every time I say it.
According to the wiki, it decreases white and green chances by a bit, and increase blue, purple and legendary buy a small fraction. Not much, but I'll take what I can get.
In fact this entire video is a pathetic joke....If you're killing enemies at level 49-50 and you're level 80 it means you're not even in UVHM yet, you're cheating because you're still in TVHM!!
So, this is a stream. Last stream, I got to OP6 and I was preparing for OP7 today. Since I want to save some of the best gear (that you can only get once per run) I went back to True Vault Hunter Mode (TVHM) and did Captain Scarlet's DLC to get the Pimpernel, which with the Bee, is good in OP levels, even though it's level 50. That's why you saw level 50 enemies. Once I got a decent roll, I returned to UVHM and OP6, then I got more gear and did another run of Digistruct Peak, but the game bugged right before the last boss, so I'll have to try again tomorrow.
@LookIntoGaming yup i spoke too soon, watched a bit more of your playthrough and i can clearly see you fight level 82 enemies. Maybe i should get more information next time before going off on someone. I was wrong, you were entirely in the right.
Thank you very much! And I get what you are saying, but it was my editing software that doesn't like the mic. It's normal every other time, but not when I really need it to work.
@@LookIntoGaming I swear if I see just that in the future I'd lose my mind, you're awesome 😁 I got the idea partly from years of bad loot luck leaving a lot of sessions already doing it, partly from Nerbit doing similar runs in fallout with different rules, though I definitely forgot that second part till just now
@@LookIntoGaming I did it last week, not exactly sure where the trigger for respawning is, but it's either immediately after quest completion or a step shortly after. I farmed for the shotgun just to find out it was kind of bad compared to what I already had.
Super Miners are what keeps me in the game. I want to max them out in terms of slots and levels. I have the Legendary Super Miner ''Orange Fish''. It's great. I also have both 'rare' mineral spawn ones ''Gramps'' and ''Scuzz''. I will never sell any of those.
I agree. I've got "Goldalf" that gives a random reward after mining a ton of materials, and I sometimes got tickets from him. I really just wish I was luckier and got more of the legendary ones.
I remenber on one of your streams we joked that if someone didn't got a legendary on BL3 that would be wierd.... you laughed, the person who said laughed, i laughed, and this run laughed too
You DIDN'T pull a legendary that you can use?? In BL3? Damn, if this was 2, I would be able to see it. But 3?? Also, awesome that they somehow never fixed huge crosshair....
That's just how cursed some Borderlands runs are... You say something as a joke one time, and it will eventually become a reality. Just like LilGasMask666's Exp-Jet Loader (I think that was it).
was wondering when you would do this challenge. i tried it myself but it was more looter than scavenger. i just couldn't buy grenades or guns from vendors (like your runs ammo from vendors is okay) but unlike your run i allowed enemy drops and mission rewards and one small rule allowing earls shop because its hella exspensive and usually has nothing good. also despite what a lot of people will say about bl3 I really like it. so much was overhauled in it and honestly i dont give a shit about the story (which a ton of people dont like) and also the legendary drop rate in my eyes is not a problem. a lot of people do not like grinding and increasing legendary drop rates is a great way to avoid long grinds for certain guns.
I definitely think I would play more if I just hadn't played so much before. I still might do more challenge runs sometime, and I want to make an infinite duration Iron Cub build sometime, but I have so many other games to play and record that BL3 is super low on my priority list for now.
Premiers are videos, but they are streamed and get a live chat right when they are released. I do this to create a bit more hype around the video, and I think it helps me get more views.
The other day I started a new pre-sequel playthrough and I decided to just ground point deadlift because of all the jump pads lying around and he went down so easily it was ridiculous. It was always a really annoying boss for me, but doing that made it child’s play. Of course, you were waiting for an oz-kit in this play through, so you couldn’t do that.
I don't think I've ever used butt-slam to kill him, but I always used to struggle with him in co-op on console. I still don't remember why I struggled so much, but I think I just got good.
I'm not so sure about legendary grenades, but I was thinking of a grenade-only run sometime. It would take a ton of testing, because I have some ideas about Knuckle Dragger, but I'm not 100% they will work. The rest of the run after that should be a piece of cake.
I never really thought of that, but that makes so much sense. I can only really think of the Monarch / Dictator and maybe the Shreddier as good Vladof guns. I would argue that faster fire rate = less base damage, but I don't know why they would make Vladof guns weaker than other manufacturers.
I appreciate the offer, but no thank you. I had a better idea for this one, but I couldn't get the screenshot I wanted, and I didn't really have a good idea for the scavenger run thumbnails. The good thing is that I have amazing ideas for upcoming videos.
The reason you are so surprised and disappointed at how many legendaries there are in Borderlands 3 is because you got way too used to the mind boggling stupid, useless, miserly drop rates in Borderlands 2. I mean when you're used to farming for hundreds, even thousands of attempts to try and get a Legendary to drop in Borderlands 2, you end up being completely spoilt and shocked at how awesome the drop rates for Legendaries were in Borderlands 3.
Yeah, this is also the first time I actually farmed for legendaries in BL2, as I just play casually, but there are definitely issues with both systems. I think a grinder or similar reforge system would make it perfect (and a use for eridium/money).
