Hey Max! I just discovered your channel! I have purchased some of your Max Packs already that were recommended from Nikolas Kole, and I love 'em! You rule!!!!!
I just found your channel as I'm starting out on my digital art journey and I'm so sad to see you haven't made any more videos these past few years, but you've got a new Instagram follower! your humour, charisma and the way you communicate your passion and humility is just so engaging to me, not to mention your talent and skills in delivering a tutorial, so if you ever do come back to RU-vid you've got a guaranteed viewer in me ❤️
I'm new to this. I'm very pleased to have stumbled onto this site. I really feel comfortable watching and taking in everything that your saying. Please continue being you, you've awesome. This is what attracted me to your channel. May the art spirit's keep you safe and healthy.
Hi, fantastic work! ❤ have been watching your videos I have a question for you, what should be your color profile & file format while sending the artwork for printing to get the exact results .
That really depends on your printer. I have a relationship with my local printer and they have their own preferences. I can't say it will be the same for everyone else.
@@MaxUlichney I see thank you for the fast answer! It's nice that the retro pack is in video form so you can see the brushes in action, I wish it was the same for the gouache pack! It's hard to decide wich one too buy. I'm wanting to paint backgrounds like the ones from alice in wonderland 1951 I think (but not 100 % sure) gouache is the way to go. Could you reccomend any of this 2 packs for the right texture?
@@Swanheart33 apperently I bought the ”gouache Max pack” and thenI bought a gouache pack from a girl its called ”gouache lovers set” by ”everytuseday” and she Aldo hand one called ”bouquet marker Brush ” in that pack there was Therese stamps but also 5 gouache brushes that I regrett not buying
I just bought your oil and retro Max Packs and I just wanted to come on here to thank you for making such beautiful brushes and also taking the time to show us how to use them. ❤
thanks for the tutorial, i've got some packs from you, and the tutorial it helped me a lot to understand how to use it. I can't for the Oil MaxPack tutorial 🤩🤩
Would you ever make a video like this where you also video tape your hands while you sketch and work? I find its helpful to me to see how artists hold their pencils and how to observe the movements they make while creating their art. I have tried hard to do hatching on procreate with pencils like your and it always comes out odd looking. I'm working if maybe I am holding my pencil oddly or maybe not giving enough pressure or putting too much pressure?
Even though this is an old video, I still followed you right after you shared your story especially that part at the end that it was your first video. It was nice to hear someone be real and down to earth and sharing how nervous you but at the same time laughing it off awkwardly because that is exactly how i feel rn lmao Im in the process of building the courage to create youtube videos but so far im testing the waters on my IG first and batching my work so i can get into a good work flow.. i have a voice over that im still cringing about that i recorded yesterday and it wasnt even that great but the reason why i did it was because im wanting to get past that awkwardness fast lol ive done it before when i did a live vdo with a friend and it was pretty awesome!! but i did SO badly the first time because my nerves got to me and i had like anxiety the whole time lmao the 2nd time it was much better because i planned my questions and answers properly and it wasnt as scary as i thought it would be but yeah. At the time i was figuring stuff out and grew a small community then but then i burnt out and left my social media and didnt bother about it after because i was trying to find ways to make money while covid was a shit show and i just...i didnt know what i was doing. BUT i do now lol i have a plan and im sticking to it and i better see some results in the next 3 months lmfao thanks again for sharing anyway :)
Hi,i bought this pack, it’s awsome but i have a little problem with the Colored Pencil Waxy brush because i have to press a lot for drawing..what can i do? Thank you
Hi Max! I love and admire your work so much. In some of your pieces (such as the painting of shaggy) I noticed that you were able to showcase the texture of paper through your brush strokes- almost as if it was done with oil. If you don’t mind, how did you achieve this? ☺️
Thanks so much! I am trying to shift from years of watercoloring manually to doing it digitally (to save space cause being over-run by art supplies is not a good look). I just bought your brushes and paper pack and I love them!
Really cool to see this piece being made. I saw it before on the max pack site, I was in awe of it. Really a great level of anatomic mastery to be able to be so playful with it. Kudos
Thanks so much for your helpful video . You are grate . Could you please learn me how can l use your two papers of your pack ? You did not explain it . I really need to now .
This was such a fantastic video! This was my first introduction to you as an artist, brush maker and now RU-vidr. I love how honest and authentic you were. I love you work and thank you so much for making this tutorial, I’m so excited to get the brushes and try something new. I’m also going to be an additional follower on instagram because I love what you’re all about and trying to give to the world. 😊❤️
I know this video is 2 years old, but I just found it and downloaded the brushes. I’m a traditional watercolor artist and I’m really looking forward to trying digital.
Well great job putting yourself out there! Congratulations! Great tutorial and explanation. Just stay real. Your also adorable and that won't hurt 😉 finding connection with other creators is also something I hope to attain.
