Bandwagon Games is a network of games, sporting events, and other similar programming. This includes miniature games, board games, role playing games, geocaching, miniature reenactments, and others.
My brother introduced me and my best friend Brett to AD&D. When we rolled up our characters, I didn't know what we were doing, but higher numbers were better. We went to a dungeon just outside of town where my character was killed by wolves. Brett went back to town where I rolled up a new character and we went to the dungeon when my character was killed by wolves. I was hooked - a game replicating medieval combat with paper, pencils, dice, and our imaginations - that was maybe 1978.
Where is the mountain dew? Its in the fridge! Are there any women there? If so I want to do them! I had that old skit rolling through my head as I watched this. lmao
There you have it, a frightening look into America's most frightening pastime. Dungeons and Dragons: Satan's Game! Hahaha I love that skit, it's amazing. Nice to see someone else was thinking the same thing I was.
I'm so glad people get the reference. I wasn't sure if it was too old. I used to quote this with my D&D group almost every session. I still do with a lot of gamers. 😄
@@BandwagonGames I still remember first time I ever saw an 8bit version of that skit. I almost puked from laughing so hard. LOL. "I want to attack the darkness." I've known players that would do something like that just for the laughs., The best was we moving into an old castle, to get and item for someone, and sudden. You hear "whoosh, whoos, whoos" behind. We turn around expecting a dragon or something flying in. it was the class clown playing a low intel goofy Half orc, with a couple big leaves, waving them like wings going "Whoosh whoosh, Whoosh." turns out we had all failed a perception check. lol
@@talisredstar1543 Oh! I had something like that in one of my games. The players were in a dark room, and I had some sort of spirit attacking them. They had to roll to spot it and no one succeeded. So, in desperation, one of the players said, "I'm going to... I can't believe I'm saying this... I attack the darkness."
Im watching through game of thrones for the first time right now. Episode 3. 5 minutes ago i literally said to myself "How the fuck do they get Ned from Eddard"
Thanks so much! The game I used was on Tabletop Simulator, which is why it all has a bit of a pixilated look. I actually own the game - it's literally one of my two favorite games of all time - but the TTS version has everything painted, which I thought would look really good. I then took videos from the movie and put them in to illustrate what was happening.
Thank you all for your comments! This kind of video takes a really long time to make, so it's really encouraging to see people enjoying it. Might mean I need to make more. What sort of movies and shows do you think would make good parody RPG games?
Yeah, that’s pretty much spot on. I’m kind of sad that we didn’t get Cat’s fight with the assassin but I can see how that would be hard to show with the party split.
Man, thank you so much for saying that. It's been a bit frustrating for me, as well. I really thought this would take off a bit more than it has. I'm hoping to do more, but it takes a bit of time, so it really helps to hear people are liking it.
First! Once upon a time, being the IP holder conferred absolute control over a brand. That day is dead. If the IP holder refuses to bring out new content or insists on only bringing out degraded content, then we can make our own. I invite all my fellow Star Wars fans to enjoy another unauthorized novel completely free. Just google Legend of the Harp Jedi.
Yeah, sorry. It really means a lot to me how much you like that series. And I wish I had better news about new episodes of other series coming out soon. But unfortunately it takes such a long time to do, and I have to do it on my free time since I don't have any sponsors or backing, so I frankly don't know when I'll be getting to them again. :(
