This is one of the most genuine and wholesome videos I've seen in a long time. Just some random dude sharing his passion driven story. I like how you calmly tell your story, but it's no secret that this must've been one of your happiest days. Cheers mate, Morton surely is a great inspiration.
Nice vid. I would be blown away too to see Lachlan on a trail/road. So cool that EF organization promotes alternative competitive cycling programs that allow Lachlan to ride these endurance events.
Thanks! And yes, it would work great for holding a charger pack; with the strap, you can mount it close to whatever bike device you need to charge (Garmin/ light etc).
Yes- the LRF files are automatically generated low-resolution versions of the main files, which the Mimo app uses to show you what you have recorded. They are safe to delete! As far as I know, there is no way to turn them off- so ignore them. I hope this helps!
You forgot to mention that in Tilt Lock mode, the gimbal can act like a jib arm - you can start low and elevate to get some really interesting shots as the frame will always remain horizontal. Mount the Osmo on a pole, such as a monopod, and you can get some great sweeping shots. For me, I think that Tilt Lock is the best mode of the lot.
This is why I love great contributors on RU-vid - excellent video that answers the exact question I find myself asking myself over my breakfast cup of tea. Clear, informative and to the point - thank you!
It does have a fair bit of oomph. But as with all bikes, there is a tipping point where the overall weight is too much for the motor to overcome once gravity comes into play. This bike is one of the lighter e-bikes on the market- a quick glance around your LBS will quickly show you there are a lot heavier e-bikes you can buy with the same power motor. However, as this one is designed to be ridden offroad, you will soon come up against steeper terrain than you would cycling around urban areas. And it is these hills on which you will reach the limits quicker. I hope this helps!
@spaddon it does thank you. I'm in a right dilemma as I'm going to get an e-gravel bike but just cannot decide. Possibly the Ribble, possibly an Orbea D30 1x, possibly the Cairn Rambler or even the Canyon On 7. Probably too much time spent choosing and not riding.
Wow- thats a nice problem have!@@AreWeDust As far as I know, they are all great bikes (I do like the Cairn Rambler- a proper beast of the bike!). Make sure you let us know which one you pick!
Hi! They are Deda Metal Blast Extensions. They are quite good, and they do provide additional hand positions for longer rides, but they do take up a lot of real estate on the top of your bars (especially the armrests). I would recommend the Farr Aero Gravel bars above these, and the 'bridge' part does not take away any space along the top. I hope this helps!
I’ve got a Ribble cgr e it’s brilliant it’s around 13 kegs are you sure yours is thirty kgs as you say towards the end of your video .? The bike is not at all heavy for an electric assist e-bike
Hi, interested to know if the bar tape you mentioned comes as standard or have you added a new tape, if so which brand? I've got a Ribble CGR ALe and love it.
It did come as standard- I never paid for any upgrade. There are limited colours on the Ribble website to buy as single items. As I mentioned once or twice- I love it! Thanks for watching!
Hi! No- nothing that I have found. All these later and the bag is still going strong- the zip getting stiffer, and the finish to the bag is scruffier, but no marks to the bike. Hope this helps!
Yes, I agree they are wide out- it is next to impossible to get your glass arms over the top of them. Not a problem unless this is important to you. Thanks for watching!
#still what size is your head? I’m a 59 and was wondering if the medium does indeed run to a 60 or should I just go large? Any advice would be appreciated. Awesome video man, thanks
I love this bag. Can be used as a handlebar pack, framepack, “bum bag”, or crossbody bag (when you get off the bike). Waterproof (except for zippers). Perfect for day ride nutrition and extras (air Pump, spares, phone, charger). Also great for bike packing ( if you don’t want a large framepack but want the equivalent size of a slightly larger top tube pack). I’ve taken it on road, mountain and urban rides. Very versatile. Fits well in many geometries. Would recommend. Thanks for the video!
