Glad to see The Mary Skelter Trilogy get the attention it deserves Neptunia is good and all but like @jasonblalock4429 said it's Compile and Idea Factory's best series (Though Death end;reQuest 1 and 2 and it's upcoming spinoff and 3rd game deserves some honorable mention) I am kinda interested in Neptunia however.
I’ll eventually get this Ver . Of the first game so I can sell my prior version. I just got II :) I love guilty gear, Blazblue & Melty blood and of course UNIB. There’s so much charm put into all these 2D or cell-shaded fighters.
Yeah, these games are quirky and over-complicated, but I think they're probably the best things that Iffy/Compy have ever put out. There's actually pretty good design, and the scenario and stories are genuinely creative. Certainly a lot better than another lazy cut-and-paste Neptunia sequel.
The concept of Neptunia is awesome but i see why people don't like the stories (Mostly because the first game had zero budget) but i still want to give the series a chance.
Spire doesn't really allow you to "pick" you build. You just have to make it work with what you're given. That's the rogue experience. Also, restarting from X position in a run isn't very variable as the game changes so much based on your actions and path taken. 10 people could play the same seed and all get completely different runs.
I wouldn't want to restart from position x. (Even though with seeded runs you can already sort of do that). I wouldn't want a permanent save system either. Just a restart battle option. Because although you say the game changes so much, there's a lot of things that don't. Each enemies AI only has 1-3 options. You do have to make due with what options you're given but that's also the point. If you're unfamiliar with builds and each of their viabilities and drawbacks in combination with the enemies you'll be facing, then you're just guessing when you're playing. You're relying on chance instead of making a plan and executing it. And to be fair, that is a way some people enjoy playing, and you are correct that it's more inline with a rogue like experience. However, based off the state of Slay the Spire 1, and assuming Slay the Spire 2 will be similar (if it's significantly different like a new direction for the game throw my suggestions out the window) I don't think a restart button will inhibit those people from starting over and playing the game the way they want to. While a restart button would help me with how I like to play the game.
The damage being done to the heart, is just score like if you have a Combo you get CCCombo, if you can do a bunch of damage you get Overkill ect Also its weird having total score interact with "The True Ending" of a Rouge lites as rougelites are supposed to have an unending feel
It can eat up a ton of time getting set up again if you're on the last islands and end up dying. That was one thing I did not like about the game. How it destroys all your walls and turn all your recruits back into beggars. Even if you've sealed the mountain portal on an island this happens.
I don't really understand what your problem with his video is. He was just explaining that he created using psychology and experimentation, and said that it wasn't perfect. He didn't morally grandstand or call other methods wrong. If someone is watching his video, they're looking for a generalized solution to get someone into gaming.
The main thing, was that the last thing he talked about was more important than the rest of the video but he only spent 30 seconds on that, and 20 minutes on things that are arbitrary. Things that are more important deserve more time than things that are less important in my opinion. It would be more helpful if the focus was trying to find ways for someone new to video games to have fun. Or ways to persuade others to get into video games. Not that Mario is too daunting to get into video games. Heck, one of my sister's only video games she enjoys is the first one she played which was Super Mario Bros. He used an example from his life of what he did, I used examples from my life. They do not align with what he talked about for 20 minutes. And hence this response, since other options are more worth talking about.
Aside from the mobile game, there is a webcomic that goes over more of the Skullgirls lore, starting from when Marie first got the skull heart. They finished the first season of chapters this year with a second hopefully on the way.

The game is incredible. Although it's very easy and fast to complete, it's still a complete experience that i would recommend to everyone. It's sad that is so unpopular... Also, nice video : )

Fun fact, there is only one sword that needs to be bought, and it isn't the short sword… If you talk to everyone in the first town before leaving, you get it for free, and you get a better sword if you visit the town after completing a bit of the story.

I have such mixed feelings on this one. On one hand, it's very refreshing to see a game about adults dealing with adult issues, and the puzzle gameplay is surprisingly fun. But my god, its overall view of adult relationships is SO dismal. Your only choices are "cold controlling b*tch" vs "psychopathic demoness." It feels like a dating sim made by someone who hates dating. And then, if anything, the "Full Bodied" update is even MORE confusing. Adding a trans girl / okama as a third option is a fascinating creative choice, but why in the hell did they make her look like a kid??? Especially when she's almost certainly the best option, story-wise! You can bring peace and harmony to the earth, but only if you don't mind feeling like a total p*do. Just... WTF. Seriously.
The game is only around $2, has a good 2 hours of playtime if you’re like me and wanna get every achievement, and to top it all off each story is really sweet and cute. I see no reason to not buy this game unless you just hate love.

Cool video man, i remember my first game being a silly "arcade" like pc game about shoveling and getting jewels it was kind of easy and my father would help to understand it, but then later i started playing Crash Bandicoot for the ps1 and i remember it dearly
Last year Trine 5 came out, and while I think it's still a fun game, I regret that it's more restrictive than ever with your options. Trine 1 and 2 might have been easier, but that meant that you can solve the problems in many ways, and it would be interesting for a Trine game to actually combine difficulty and creativity. For this reason, Trine 5 was only ranked 47 in my ranking of good games from last year on my channel.
Loop Hero is an absolutely amazing game. The narrative, the game mechanics, the music, the art style and all that's done with it, the satisfying progression, the risk-reward dilemma of whether or not to try for one more loop before retreating or fighting the boss... and of course... (Spoiler warning) _You get to beat the crap out of god after he gets butthurt and decides to obliterate existence_
The issue with dbd is that there is no protection for new players. I have over 3000 hours in the game and I still sometimes get matches with players that I newer to the game or less skilled. The game uses a skill based system. It is based on kills and escapes. When you are new, you are placed in the middle, which makes no sense. There is also a point when reaching a certain MMR from which you can't lose MMR. And if you have a streak of wins by luck, you end up playing in high MMR without you actually deserving to be there. This is on top of the game being extremely grindy. You need roughly 4,000,000 blood points to get a character to prestige 3 so you unlock all 3 perks at tier 3. You need to do it for all 73 characters. That is 292,000,000 bloodpoints, with 2 new characters being released every 3 months. Most characters can be unlocked through 70 hours of gameplay each. But some must be purchased for $5 a pop or $7 for a killer and survivor pair. Some DLCs have 2 survivors and 1 killer. So you have a game that is grindy, unbalanced and overpriced. While the game is a mess, there is no incentive to change since there is nothing like DBD out there. Many games came and went and that is the only time when the devs are ambitious. The second they manage to get the competition closed, they are halfassing updates again. It took them 7 years to improve the grind. That is just because of a competition having a better grind.
Your getting newer players in the current mmr? Then your clearly not high mmr. My matches are all crazy difficult. It used to be a mix with mostly average games with the hint of either easy or hard but not now. If your speaking of the current mmr then your not in the high mmr rating and thank god for that because even for vets its a grind

Because, that's not the case. For one. Behaviour Interactive is a business. Businesses have an unsatisfiable lust for money. They always want to be bigger, regardless of competition. For two. Dead By Daylight has had constant competition thanks to Fortnite coming out one year later, which is still going strong "It took them 7 years to improve the grind. Yeah I enjoyed it, I find it easy to enjoy things. I uninstalled it because I'm probably not going to play it again for a while and need the room. I got at least 150 games to review, and what I play off recording is heavily based off my mood. I'm in the mood for an immersive plot and environment that I'm unfamiliar with that I can take at a slow pace. So I'm doing Atomic Heart on Armageddon and having a fantastic time. After that I'll probably do a mixed review platformer and then My Lovely Wife. For one of my kids I'm doing Kirby's Return to Dreamland and for my friend I'm playing FFVII Remake when he can watch live as I've not been through it and I believe the sequel is coming out soon. Mainly though, I'm just not in the mood for a forever game right now.
Yeah I'm a bit slow. Sloth seems a bit of an exaggeration and I assure you that the audio is much worse if I don't edit all of my stutters, clicks, and breathing out.
