bro, you are doing awesome, but to mention that sqrt(of a number) is not positive number but it is always plus or minus of the result, hence the Range is real number (hence it is spans from 0 to all positive real numbers and all positive negative real numbers
I just asked you in a previous video what a function was used for in real life applications, and then I happened upon this video which explains my question in the other video. Nicely explained and am subscribing to your channel. Keep the videos coming. Can hardly wait for your video explaining differential equations for beginners. Cheers.
This is all very informative, very interesting, but my question is what are the applications of functions in real life? In other words, how would functions be used in real life? In what areas? I'm fairly certain these things would be useful in science and business. Examples?
This guy is great. He doesn't look or sound like a math teacher, but he teaches it well. He doesn't come across as a "math teacher." He is like a comrade, like a friend in your class who is helping you. He is more like a fellow participant in the same class. How refreshing. Thank you!
Thank you for helping me remember. I used to know, but it has been a long time and I have been studying for a certification test. Your simple step by step instruction helped me refresh my memory!
Hello Geneiveve! Functions are used to predict and see patterns in data. If you make $8 an hour, you can predict and see how much money you can make over time using a function like y = 8h, where "y" is the total money made, and "h" is the number of hours worked. well, I suppose I should have figured it out myself, but when I hear stretch, I think about pulling the parabola by the "arms" out, never thought pulling the "arms" up to make it skinnier. thx.
