Hi, my name is Rachel! I am crochet designer from California. I've been crocheting since I was very young, and I absolutely love designing new patterns to share with all of you. Here at my RU-vid channel I will share tutorials with you for special stitches, techniques, as well as difficult things in my patterns that may need extra explanation. @@DesertBlossomCrafts no, within a granny square. Someone told me she made a circle out of picot stitches then turned the circle into a Grammy square. I’ve been trying to figure out how one does a picot stitch that is not an edging or border but in the middle of a pattern
Very nice ! you can start with 9 stitches instead of 10, this way you don't have to cheat for the petals :) it's divisible by 3. And it will also stay flat a little more if you have less stitches
One thing I like to do is take some time to plan out my projects before I start them. I don’t like cutting my knitting fabric because there’s no way to save it.
That looks fantastic. I like how the stitch you chose. It looks very sturdy. I feel like it’s hard to make crochet bags because you have to make sure you use a stitch that doesn’t have a lot of holes.
Well the penguin 🐧 is my favorite..... .the dog....... The lion........ the hippo....... then the whale .... would be last .you did a great job on them all.
I've read many a blog about this stitch and never made sense of it but i watched this in double speed, crocheted along, and omg, it's so easy and satisfying! My tenses are perfect even on the first go! thank you for your wonderful explanation ❤
I love mixed color of yarn like that because you don't have to change colors . It's all one string of yarn and it's easy to use and pretty to. And it makes blankets beautiful to.
It is important to socialize. You don't want folks to think you would rather be at home crocheting & not talking to them. If you don't know everyone, I wouldn't. If it's a family thing, then maybe they wouldn't mind,
Here is my tutorial! It’s a stitch that alternates between hdc and sl sts. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Dnon1kKg3Ew.htmlsi=b3QZK3l6kNfHrxXP
Yes, exactly! I also need to use up some of those “special occasion” hanks I already have before buying more 🙈 I have one gorgeous alpaca yarn from a yarn shop on a vacation years ago…I’ve never figured out what to make with it😂😂
