Such a lot going for Paisley but sadly a lot of people don't seem to see it. Also sadly, it's currently a shadow of its former self thanks to out of town shopping malls and the closing down of many businesses factories bearing famous names over the last 50 years or so, particularly the thread industry (e.g., you will no doubt be aware of the famous Paisley pattern). The Town Hall and Abbey (where King Robert III of Scotland is entombed and Marjorie Bruce, daughter of Robert the Bruce) take prominent place of course but so glad you also featured Coat's Memorial Church in your video. Definitely, a gem (and featured in one episode of Outlander, if you're a fan). Guessing by your accent, you might be interested to know Alexander Gardner was born in Paisley. Gardner is famous for his photography during the American Civil War. People from Paisley are known as 'Paisley Buddies' and famous 'Buddies' include actors, Gerard Butler and Tom Conti and musicians, Gerry Rafferty and Paolo Nuttini. The Wallace family also held lands in nearby Elderslie where William Wallace is reputed to have been born and educated by the Cluniac monks in Paisley Abbey. I hope you found it a great base for exploring the West Coast of Scotland.
If you’re ever in Halifax again, just let us know and we’ll give you a tour. My hubby is doing a tour this week for a cruise ship but we’ll give you a personal tour on the house :-) Take care 🇨🇦
@@globalgeezers7785 The form is mentioned in the movie "The Terminal (2004)". 1:08:50. It's the form that the American aviation authority requires in order to export medicines out of the country. I know it's just a movie but I was wondering if the form actually exists.

I love Huatulco, bevcause it will NEVER become spoiled like they spoiled Acapulco - most Mexican restorts get spoiled from overdevelopment or gang activities given enough time. I do intend to visit Huatulco when I move to Mexico early next year!!!
CAN YOU PLEASE RECOMEND A HOSTAL OR HOTEL TO STAY NON EXPENSIVE IN AUCKLAND NZ? I love to watch your videos. How much is the ferry to Waiheke Island ? THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Great video! We were curious about communities like this when we spent a year in Malaysia but didn't find much information, so this video was fantastic! We know people who live in a community like this in the US but they pay more than double the prices you showed, and don't get the food or cleaning. And it was lovely to hear Sarah play the piano!
Malaysia has one of the oldest rainforest in the world. So it should not disappoint travellers as kl itself is surrounded by jungles but i heard the speakers on the buses can be faulty at times
Studying ancient history would help to understand what your looking at . I’ve lived there and multiple visits. Cyprus is important in history now and the past. You aren’t qualified to video , show the world the great history. The island goes back to ancient times king Richard the lion heart to Lazarus and Ulysses
You're correct about studying ancient history, and we're clear that we hadn't done that for this area. We always hope that people who know more about the area will add to the comments, so that others can learn. 😊
Now is the best time for every foreign to visit Malaysia 🇲🇾 due to the favourable USA 🇺🇲 exchange rate..enjoy most of your time spend over there with afordable luxury vacation throughout the year 😁
I had total knee replacement for my left leg. As Malaysian , I went to goverment hospital . I had only pay for the parts replaced for RM10,000 ( usd 2500). The surgery and hospitalisation for a week cost me RM12 ( usd 3). Most affordable ,right🫡🫡
They have new viewing galleries built at Miraflores Locks now; and they are still updating the visitors' centre/museum (which was excellent, so i hope it will be as good when completed). I would only use the bus on Sunday, when the traffic is lighter! I would only recommend the bus for the first day, just to orientate yourself (it's what I do on other places). Your idea of hiring a taxi for a tour is a good one (if you can avoid "gringo pricing")
Oh, and having a local helps. for example, telling you to watch for the crocodiles basking on the mud off to the side of the Miraflores Locks, or the marine iguanas you see if you walk to Panama Viejo ruins (and not take the courtesy trailer)
We hope to return and have more time in the area. Unfortunately, when on a cruise, we only have part of a day to spend exploring. Hopefully your comment will provide others with additional information to research before deciding on their day trip. Thanks!
RIP OFF - Overcharging Foreigners. Doctors in Malaysia command high salaries and consultant fees to fund their children's education and migration to Australia and NZ. Every year MY Hospitals advertise for Malaysian Doctors working overseas to return for a "fat cat" salary. Alamak, RM222 for a 1 hour Physio Meh!!! There are many other countries like Hungry, Turkey and India that costs way way lower that Malaysia. Wages in Malaysia are so low and Medical Costs Privately is too high. Many Locals just DIE as they have NO MONEY.. A Teacher get RM4,000 a month b4 taxes - Local Medical services via insurance is still no affordable my many but many locals still pay as there are no alternatives.
We appreciate your input. It’s always a learning curve with how the local’s experience may be. Yes, there are other countries with good medical options, too.
We Malaysians go to government Hospitals. It only cost Rm2 ( 50 cent US) to see a general practioner and RM5 ( usd 1.2 ) to see a specialist.😊 GOVERNMENT employees do not pay anything😅
Visited a friend who was admitted at Prince Court. The facilities and the hospitality are on another level. My friend was lucky, his medical expenses at Prince Court are covered by the company he worked with at that time.
Actually, the acronym KLCC is meant for Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (located in the twin towers), just like SACC is meant for Shah Alam Convention Centre and PICC is Putrajaya International Convention Centre.... but hey, Kuala Lumpur City Centre is also fine I guess, although the real centre of the city is most likely somewhere else.
Native KLite here. Nah, he's wrong. It is always known as KL City Centre. The convention centre which is located in the same area is called KLCC Convention Centre (KLCCCC, lol).
Enjoying your video guys, thank you! Like you both, when I first visited last year, I fell in love with Gdańsk and vowed also to return, which I am doing in October this year. When you go back, try to stay in Old Town, as the atmosphere is wonderful and everything is so handy. Did you get to Forum Mall, which is across the road from Old Town and has a river running through it! I’m not into shopping, but going there is a bonus if you find Lepione in the food court, as it has amazing discounts and great food! Great for travellers! Hope you got to go to Wroclaw as well, cos it’s incredible too! Fell in love with Poland and how helpful and genuine the locals are! Happy travels! Cheers from Australia
