I’ve just started using the 4 mic 7000 version of this for about 5 weeks now for karaoke, it’s been very reliable and to not just myself sounds better than my shure beta 58 with my bkx4r rack mount mic
these are ok i would like to hear someone sing thro them ,,,,I dont know if colum systems can replace the sound of proper speakers. the yhamaha dsr 12 blows all three systems away for example and far more portable ...the 44 defeats the object of having a portable system too but the 28 seems a player
Thank you for your comment and sharing your perspective. That being said, here’s a question for you. Does it matter how much you’re charging when it comes to using a mixer to protect your Sound system?
@@TheDJsGuru I'm using a dj mixer with Cdjs so the mic section is a lot better than your average controller. The gain is higher as well. I think that's the problem when using Shure sm 58 rather than a beta 58 which has more gain. Also wireless mics have more gain than a conversational XLR Mic. Gain is like half the problem Compression is just frosting on the cake. Just my 2c
You called the evox cable a "powercon." Powercon is a power cable. "Speakon" is the audio cable equivelent, which is what it uses to connect the top with the sub.
Any advice what I should use for singing and acoustic guitar? I don't want to use pickup just microphone for guitar. I need for practice and small audience. Should I use acoustic amp or PA and which one you are advice?
I still have my Thump15As and always push them to the max! Great speakers! I always run them until the limit light blinks! 🔊I just bought the LD Systems ICOA 15A w/ Bluetooth but, I should have bought the new Thump 15XTs. I hate how heavy these new speakers are.
first i started at denons (dn-2000f mk2,/4500mk2/s3500/hd2500 etc) after pioneer introduced the rx, i switched to the xdj rx, and still use it today. its a great piece of gear, but searching for a song is a pain in the .. without using the laptop so i'm looking for a replacement i have doubt between the pioneer rx3 and the denon prime 4+ , whitch should i choose...
been researching for a while now and was wondering something. I been a kj for a few years and decided to add dj to my resume i have a 12 ch mixer and a amp if i get a controller for dj would i still need my amp?
Would a compromise between taking the least amount of gear to a gig but also getting the most/best low end be a pair of 915a's? I don't have the budget or van space for subs.
I went to a store to do a shootout between the 945 and the 932. The 932 blew the 945 away. The only thing the 945 had going for it was the extra low end. The 932 just hits instantly and to me sounded way better. If you are planning to use subs then buy the 932. The 932 seriously made me question my purchase of the TT 22A MK2!
I have 4 sets of these. Been using this for 1 year now, and it is awesome! I'd say it's on par with Shure BLX288 Sennheiser 835 dual microphpnes when it comes to sound quality, with half the price! The only problem i have with these mics is the handling noise and the plosives.
I'm a bit confused... the 215XT has BT and wifi option BUT you can also connect normally thru XLR cable if you dont want to use BT/link right? @TheDJsGuru
For anyone struggling to connect this to a MacBook Air or Pro, as I just did: use the TRS-TRRS adapter ("Connect Phone") and plug the TRRS-side direct into your *headphone jack*. Mac will recocgnise it as headset-mic, and you're good to go. No need for USB-C adaptors! On another note, having now tested it a lot, I can say this: it's fun & cheap & practical live gear, as described here. But it's not suitable for high-quality recording. You will get a certain level of built-in background buzz on all recordings, no matter what.
The most use for this will be DJs and live singers. Why would you not use a wired mic for recording or content creation, maybe rarely. All the reviews say it’s very noisy in operation and drop outs.
Great vid. Can you do me a favor and tell me if this controller has an included fixture profile for the “Rockville STAGE MATRIX 36 RGB 6x6 Tri-Colored Matrix Blinder Light”? Thanks!!
I think you mixed up what the 3 modes do. From the KRK site: "Mix Mode, with flat frequency and phase response, is best for mixing, mastering, and critical listening. Create Mode is a more inspirational voicing best used for writing, producing, and casual listening. Focus Mode is a mid-focused voicing for critical analysis of the midrange band where vocals and most instruments have the most energy."
