I had owned a Fat Boy and now own a Heritage Classic. I must say that I like the Heritage so much better. It is a much more comfortable die position and handles real welding the twisties. It feels light and manuverable on winding roads. The Fat Boy definitely has great looks and goes ree well on a straight line or highway but the Heritage does it all very well in all phases. Safety means wearing your helmet. I was anti-helmet my whole life. Now riding in Vancouver Washington, it’s the law. On Jan. 17, of this year, my helmet saved my life. Just thought I’d share this with everyone.
Great video brother, priceless work I hope someone can help me with my doubt... I would really appreciate it a lot. Too many negative as positive comments and thoughts about harley davidson bikes (beyond the great lookin of course), and too many comments gave me probably a bad idea of how reliable can be harley davidson, and this model (the fat boy) in particular. I love this bike, it's my dream, but far away from the "good look" for the price you are paying for one of these, the last thing you want to know is that you bought a not bullet proof motorcycle, dont get me wrong, I know all bikes are machines and even the "best" brand can have some issues. But I hope someone can tell me with his own experience, if harley davidson (especially the fat boy) it doesn't worth the price... I mean, I don't care how much it cost, for a dream to came true and for a taste of what you love you pay whatever, but far from that, I want to know if this bike can be a really strong engine that (taking care of him) it will last many years, and achieve the reliability that you have an engine between your legs that you can trust that it will not throw you... and that the dealership will not tell you "we cannot solve your problem" or having that kind of "big issues" with the spare parts... -I just want to enjoy the ride with my dream machine, but knowing that my machine will not fucked me up because it's made of crystal. Want to feel confident with a big smile on my face, just like every one of us. I also saw triumphs, hondas, yamahas, indians, ducatis, and I want this fat boy man, it's kinda hard to explain, you already ride it, you know what that bike can do to a soul, but I'm afraid of her reliable, hope someone can clear my mind. I rode with KOA PUNA for 26 yrs and the sons of Hawaii showed for a couple Saturdays how to pass the motorcycle driver test but the cop was suck a dick he wouldn't pass anyone even had a cross on his police bike and was cussing us all out at the smallest mistake then tells us get out and don't come back. average cop. Tony was the guy that helped me big time Mahalo Tony. that was 80s.
I bought my first motorcycle at Cycle City at the previous location across Nimitz in 2002. 02 Fatboy black just like the one Arnold rode in Terminator 2. I loved riding that bike around the island. I'm a touring guy now.
I heard a lot of talk about promoting safe riding, but I didn’t see very many helmets. I had a bad accident back in the early 90’s. My helmet saved my life. Great video, thanks for sharing. Just wish more folks won’t have to learn the hard way like I did. Ride safe! Aloha!

I was a member in the 80’s & 90’s. I am 71 yrs old and can’t ride anymore. I would like to turn my colors in. I live in Lahaina. My husband and I are pastors at Salvation Army on Shaw street.
I remember the Sons back in the 50's in Honolulu. My dad's friend was in the club. Forgot his name though.Them and the Primo Warriors from the Big Island. I always wanted to ride for the Sons but never got a chance to. Good luck guys and thanks for keeping the club together.
Great review, thanks a lot! One question: today I tested a BO and a Fat Bob (both with the same exhausts) but there was a vibration difference between them. Fat Bob was so smooth while BO vibrated significantly. Is it what you have noticed as well or maybe something was wrong with the BO test machine? Thanks in advance for your reply. Stay safe!
@@userwaianae8841 from what I was told yes. Plus with how motor vehicle sales work they won’t release the vehicle without insurance. But a lot braddahs ride without. Not recommend to do that.
