THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video, Professor. I am in grad school for nurse practitioner and have been struggling with proper 7th edition APA. I wish I had known about this video earlier. This has been a lifesaver, excellent video with examples.
Correct. APA does not use footnotes for the references within the paper. There are rare occasions when it may be appropriate to use a footnote to add additional information, but not for general citation. Section 2.13 of the APA 7th Edition Manual has more on the rare use of footnotes.
Im in undergraduate school for psychology. My biggest struggle isn't my material studies but this dang APA, specifically the references. Thanks for the video.
You mentioned there are significant errors on OWL. What are those specifically? I am trying to lobby to change over the excelsior lab and that would help me.
Thank you so much this was so in-depth and explicit I had to save and always refer for help. I am new to graduate writing and apa citing seem like a herculean task but with this video, I am grateful.
Thank you so much! I’m going back to school for my Master’s in Nursing and I’m already overwhelmed with the paper writing and APA format requirements. This video has made me feel so much better.
Thank you! This was very informative. I have the APA 7th edition manual and for the life of me could not figure it out. I learn best when someone explains something to me and this was it.
This is just superb, I been tryin to find out about "classical sheet music imslp" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Jonwen Doniden Rule - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cousin got cool success with it.
Thank you for this. I really did not know how to even use this. I really wanted to try Mozart sonata k282 but i could not get the score until i found out about IMSLP. I did not know how to use it but thanks to you, i really appreciate it.
@@lily772 She was the real reason why i wanted to practise this piece so badly. Her practise is so effortless and my goodness, she is beautiful and very friendly.
@@p.wanshanborlangm.laitmon6123 Same! I watched her sight reading the same sonata on one of her recent sight reading videos and needed to learn it. I love how she uses her work to donate to charity too.
@@lily772 I feel you. She is not only talented, but also very kind and generous. Her fingers seems to be dancing on the piano as she plays. Oh! How i really wish i could play like her!
hi! Excuse me but can I please ask that does IMSLP requires you to have an account to be able to download their sheet music? Idk why they kept asking me to login. Did i do sth wrong🥺
Hello! I thought the same too but theres a download button at the top above "IMSLP needs your help". Its quite hard to see the download button but you don't need to make an account. Just look for the words "Click here to continue your download"
