I own an Ortofon MM cartridge. I KNOW when the sound setup is right with Ortofon moving magnets...LOADS OF DETAIL with clean, powerful bass and sparkling highs.....BUT IT TAKES LOW CAPACITANCE INTERCONNECT AND/OR LOADING THEM AT THE INPUT STAGE AT AROUND 37K OHMS......This is the sound you get when you do that to a quality Ortofon moving magnet cartridge......COLORLESS, CLEAR, CORRECT SOUND. ....AND THIS IS IT !
