I ended up imagining my ex-crush because our story is kinda the same... up until the part where he likes me back, and my friend said yes when he asked her out.
Idea: A girl named June is dealing with her parents' divorce. She has a crush on a boy named Aidan at her high school. In fact, she's maybe even a bit obsessed with him. However, he likes her sister, and she knows it. Later of course he reveals that he was pretending all along but not now. So there's a high school prom-type thing that they get invited to. She is ghosting him by now, but still likes him. But anyways June goes off and sits in a little hiding space to take a break but Aidan finds her and suddenly sits down next to her and kisses her for a full five seconds or so. She is frozen in shock as he reveals the whole story, how he pretended to like her sister just to get her attention and that his parents were divorced as well so he gets what it's like, blah blah blah. They start datinggg!! Okay sorry for the long thing XD there's an idea at least-
