This guy is a butcher this is not how you do this crown Vic swap and why the hell did he cut up the firer wall and transmission tunnel he’s forgetting the boxes that go between the frame rails from backyard customs my God I would never let this person work on my vehicle what an abortion you don’t cut those lineup pins that’s what keeps the front end straight. There’s other guys on here do a hell of a lot better job than this guy that’s for sure.
Just for my own knowledge, so the 4 bolts with perfect fitting crush sleeves plus the 6 bolts on the radius arms won’t hold it straight? Was I suppose to drill the hole out bigger to fit the alignment pins? Cause that would allow moment if the bolts don’t hold it in place. Genuinely curious how a professional like yourself would do it without buying pre made and using what you got. I’m also not sure how else to fit a motor and transmission where the firewall is without cutting something. If you have advice on that I’ll take it too. Prob say something dumb like cut 2 cylinders off🤣🤣🙃 Feel free to make a video or edit your comment explaining how it’s done. Have a good day
I live in California, and I have never seen that disgusting exhaust manifold. But, I do remember many years back, it could have been a 1999-2000 pickup manifold. I couldn't find a CARB legal header for those unfortunate pickups.
You need to buy some of those fancy B&M bandit side plates now. Drill that shifter handle out and put them on lol. Or find someone with some 1911 grips left over
I wish I had followed Finnegan's advice. Just "get it running" dont get it right. Get it running first then worry. Now I'm about $10k into the $400 ls swap. There litterally is no stopping point.
Haha I’m only about 2,000 into my swap. I have friends that want turbos and all kinds of stuff but don’t have a driving car to start with. I rather enjoy the vehicle while I save for the extras!
Nylock nuts on exhaust, won't the nylon that locks them melt off from the hot exhaust?🤷 Pretty soon that th350 isn't going to be strong enough if you pump the power up on that 6.0L? Unless your th350 has some serious parts in it?😎👍
The old ones still have enough nylon to hold them in place! I couldn’t believe it. Definitely need to maintenance to new set up more than I have been🤣🤣 I’m now rocking a 4l80e and will be adding a sloppy mechanic trans brake 😎

We have to fix a truck for work that originally came with a 6L90e it has a 6.0 l96 and it's missing the tranmission and the starter, we're planning to install a TH400/TH350. Will the original starter (l96) work with any of those two transmissions?
I am currently using a stock starter. It chirps just a little due to me not shimming it when I put it on and I ordered one for $50 on eBay so that could be why too. Local parts stores sells shims
