Amazing video. I am not an experienced hiker, but I am excited to do this hike in August. Would you say its dangerous for someone thats in mild shape (not experienced) To do the hike from Harder Kulm to Brienz?
Appreciate it! If I'm being 100% honest, I would highly recommend you do a section of it and not the whole route from Harder Kulm to Brienz. For example, the hike up to Harder Kulm from the city of Interlaken lets you get a tough hike in yet still rewards you with an incredible view at the top. As an experienced hiker and someone already in good shape who trained heavily for 6 months specifically for this hike I still made mistakes (did it alone and didn't bring enough water) and still pushed my body to the absolute limit just to finish it even when the weather was perfectly nice. When I first read the reviews that people need to get airlifted off the route all the time I thought "must be a bunch of noobs", but after being up there and realizing there's literally no way to get down but to finish the route, it suddenly made sense. Apologies for the long response lol but really want to emphasize that the risks of this hike are much greater than they might seem. Whatever you do, bring way more water than you need and hope you enjoy the alps in some way!
