Perfect! Beautiful. The boy's voices are very good. It looks as if half the boys are not Austrian but from a lot of third-world countries; nothing Austrian about them is disappointing.
Good that this "conductor" is shown very seldom - her movements are of an amateur. Probably she got this position only because she is a woman. Everyone can wave arms up and down and smile non stop.
A small child prodigy from Slovakia. The Little Paganini. I also remember him playing with a step stool when he played with the orchestra. He is a year younger than me. A great talent and a model violin virtuoso. Today's generations do not know him for the most part. Perhaps only the name. But we experienced him before he left permanently for Vienna and then he was in Slovakia only as a guest.
In addition to this being a fantastic performance the fact that it's not performed on a double or triple horn makes it an absolute treasure. This is such a unique horn, it should be ambassador of the Wiener Symphoniker. Bravo to you Peter, bravo to the orchestra!
His Haydn is beautiful, fiery, witty, light and elegant. Maestro Orozco-Estrada is undoubtedly one of the finest conductors in the world. Since he stepped down Wiener Symphoniker has not been the same orchestra. Fortunately (for us, music lovers), he will be Generalmusikdirektor in Köln next year.
Ja!
Just possibly, if you were as good as she is, you would be invited to conduct the Wiener Symphoniker (and the Frankfurt Radio Symphony, the Dresden Staatskapelle, at the Opernhaus Zurich ... need I continue?).
@@dorette-hi4jna that’s ok, because if YOU knew how the industry really works, you’d know that talent and skill play no part in professional advancement. The only truly talented and skilled people here are the musicians themselves. Orchestras and soloists are the ones who always pull off a great performance. Need I continue?
@@jakeplonk888 How does a conductor advance professionally, if talent and skill count for nothing? How did, for instance, Simon Rattle, or Simone Young, or Manfred Honeck, get to where they are?
Thank you, Mr. Stradner. Very beautiful and enlightening performance (for me). Bravo! I wish I saw your video before performing Haydn D earlier this year!
