I own a 1994 Suzuki home-market version of the 500cc V-4 two stroke (6 MPH SLOWER than a "Pops" Yoshimura modified 1994 Hayabusa of my buddy) which tops out on $6700 worth of RACING SLICKS (now Pirelli) at 330 KPH (206.9 MPH) on the front straight at Hallett Motor Speedway. You've "goosed" your digital speedo (a $5 electronic swap) to READ 300 KPH, but the undefeatable speed limiter prevent you from passing 154 MPH (250 KPH). It's SO funny, my 1984 Honda VFR-100F limits out at 164 MPH (265 KPH) , but I pass EVERY POST 2000 AD bike ON THE STREET with the VFR. How does THAT WORK???

I think much more harm comes from cops chasing bikes just for speeding than would occur if they just aborted the pursuit. Many jurisdictions have recognized that the threat to public safety FAR outweighs the priority of writing someone a speeding ticket.
