At The Outpost our goal is to share our passion for shooting sports and the hunting and outdoor lifestyle. We believe that learning to properly handle, maintain, and ultimately how to shoot with a firearm, reinforces valuable principles based around respect, responsibility, and safety, all the while encouraging a spirit of healthy competition and sportsmanship. Whether it is benchrest target rifle shooting, clay target shooting using a shotgun, the dynamic sport of IPSC handgun shooting, or … (we could go on all day!) the bottom line is that there is a shooting discipline to suit almost anyone’s taste, and our favourite part is that you don’t need the body of an elite athlete to get involved! Our staff are all passionate shooters first and foremost, and we're all about giving back to the shooting community, so if you have any feedback for us, or have suggestions on what you'd like to see us cover on our channel, feel free to contact us via our various social media channels!
Good explanation on how to limit the stuff extraction just use it the way it’s ment to be used, in the end this is a cool looking gun that’s shoots very well.
Im guessing you found out that there is no sounds from 6 minutes to 8:15? Id expecr there was some valuable information about the shooting experience there.
5 round mag was mentioned and if you look at about 21 seconds in, it looks like a basic two position safety just behind the trigger. I could be wrong on that though.
The Mossberg 930 can be unloaded through the reload port without cycling through the chamber… just push the gate up, depress the shell that is at the mouth of the mag, push the bolt release round pops out. Easy-Peasy
My ears have pricked up as a new to firearms enthusiast. The quality between it and the T2000 must be in the next galaxy to justify the $1300+ asking price🤷♂️
@@scottthomas57 1300 is still a decent price for what it is. I assume that being the second version of the shotgun and from a more known brand, it can hold a higher asking price and is likely to be more reliable. The one in the video, I assume is a newish company. There isn't much known about this gun, only a couple of reviews etc. It's a bit more risky of a buy, but if its similar quality, it's a steal of a price. The fact you can almost buy 2 for the price of the t2000 makes it well worth trying. 850 and 1300 are both still ridiculously cheap for shotguns anyway. Once you get into the big brands, they quickly become 10x that price.
I have a Rival-S. I shot USPSA/IPSC for years with a stock gun Series 70 1911. This gun runs right out of the box. Essentially outstanding open gun with great optics. Im impressed with the quality and have had no feed problems. My wife shoots aSFX Rival polymer that is also a running machine…no problems. Cannot say anything negative about Canik. We run all Canik mags and have not tried Walther mags. I’m working up my reloads, but am hesitant to throw a preference out there yet. Overall, great value and a well made product.
I just purchased a RIA M1911. The gun, brand new, was delivered as inoperable. The magazine hits the slide stop and won't fully insert. Even with the slide and slide stop removed, and the magazine fully inserted in the mag well, the magazine won't lock in place. I can remove it by pulling it out with my fingers without using the mag release. Also, the hardcopy manual was printed with four missing pages (loading and unloading, maintenance, and Rock series parts listing). Worse than any of this, I registered the pistol for warranty with RIA and told them of the issues. That quickly resulted in multiple promotional emails, but no help. I followed up with an email detailing the issues (again). It's now been 4 days and no response, at all, from RIA. Don't make the mistake I did. Buy anything but an RIA pistol.
Sorry bro... i have to oppose to the Shadow2. CZ is going down with quality (at least here in Europe). I would go Canik (or another brand) over CZ... pistols and bolt rifles. The BREN and the EVO are good.
I have had my Rival -S since March of last year and I had over insertion and a weird nosedive on one mag. I tuned the mag tubes at the top right corner where it was rubbing and She was off to the Uspsa races....
Still hoping for a 9mm straight pull, someone in Australia must look at adding this round as a option? 9mm is still the cheapest centrefire round with double the power at 100 metres than a 22 magnum
Great idea but it shoots like crap for accuracy. Need to bring more then this to the table this day in age. Its gota be a rugged reliable fire arm but its also gota be accurate.
I own both a poly & steel Rival & have had zero feed or over insertion problems. I just trimmed two coils of the mag springs & no more insertion problems & feeds perfectly. I shoot 124 gn Black Widow semi wad cutters at 1030fps & zero feed problems in both guns...love them both
