Cake, is a thing that looks like a real object, therefore, the item made of cake is a "fake object." The second option being "fake" has already been explained but the definition of fake is just "not true, real, or genuine" according to Merriam-Webster, henceforth an object made of cake is FAKE. If not, here's a simple recap: One of the options is fake, which is not real or a better word would be counterfit, such as an object being made out of cake instead of plastic, metal or what you would expect it to be made out of The second option is cake, which is just a cake in a hyper realistic fashion, basically a counterfeit item, counterfeit?
