I don't think the interior is maximalist but the build is gorgeous 🥰 I especially love your use of patterns and mismatched pieces mixed with the soft blues/yellows and woods
Hey! Great job! Just in case, maximalism in decor tends to just mean vibrant/bold colors, bold/clashing patterns. There's not really a structure/architecture associated with it, like modern, Craftsman, Victorian, etc., have. It follows a "more is more" mindset. Be loud and proud haha❤
This house looks fun to play in, it's quite a bit for sims to do. I challenge you to build a house inspired by EA before they started collaborating with players in regard to the builds. The house has to be a tiny 2 story Victorian house for a family of 5 (you may include pets). The color scheme is pink and grey. Your budget is the EA minimum of 20k simoleons, and no debug or move objects. Happy simming! 😁💚💙
Mexican here! Usually the floral tiles are like "fancy" and are used on the kitchen/dining room. But most houses have the simple tiles, specially on white. That green bathroom is on point! Btw having ni curtains is very latino 😂👌 we often hang blankets and have curtains as doors (???) Also a tip! I have been watching @DearModern and the feng shui tips really help when you don't know how to furnish a room (I don't have the sims but I feel a lot of simmers need that knowledge 🙈)

@@doingswell Yeah! Only older colonial houses have hardwood floors, I have only seen them on museums 😅 All mexican houses have tiles, beige and white are the common colors. And for wall colors it's a flat color, most times green or just the basic ones like white and grey.

I feel like you did a pretty good job stepping out of your comfort zone 😊 Also, I am from Latin America and I can assure you that we, indeed, have very busy colorful tiles on the house everywhere! Also, the "worn" wall is good to put on the outside wall where the back patio is, normally happens as is always with no roof and we wash the patio floors very often, making the walls look worn out like that 😊❤

Yes, Lovestruck does give us more lore. Girl, I am having a ball playing Lovestruck as Don Lothario. I do not play with cc or mods (I used to back in my sims 2 days, but now cc and mods require too much). I don't have time for all of that. I just be ready to dive into some gameplay. The Sims 4 is a fun game that requires imagination, lol. If this game seems boring, it's the player, lol. It's all about how you play and the stories you give your sims. I love and prefer your gameplay videos. You play fun to me. I love that you are a vanilla player like me! Yay, lol 😊❤🎉. Anyway, nice build as always. This pack is beautiful 😍. Please do some videos with cc! I didn't play with cc until about 2 years ago, and I'm telling you, it has completely changed the game for me. (I had to disable my cc for a week because of all the bugs that came with the Lovestruck updates...turns out cc and mods weren't the issue... and man, I missed my cc so much!)
You placing the hamper on the upstairs bathroom made me realize that I haven't seen any simmer placing a trashcan in the bathroom but everyone puts toilet paper 🤭
This is so adorable! I love all the details with the clutter and garden stuff. I also love how you build with an idea of who lives in the place you're building and what they'd have on the walls.
I've come to realize this challenge really is a challenge lol 😭. I commend you for doing this challenge, It's entertaining watching you do this, because the outcome always surprises me. You are doing great at this, I would rage quit lol 🤣. Doctor Ashley did a great job doing this challenge, she's awesome at building and she gives good building advice/techniques.

This one needs a redo! Haha, you missed wallpaper on one of the walls and I also felt bad that you were forcing employees to chill near the dumpsters 🥲 it ended up a lot nicer with the changes you made at the end. The blue tile flooring was still great in the bathroom. Color theory, orange and blue look fantastic together 💛
