Hi Debbie 😊 I just need help in my journey I'm an international student and I need advice and mentoring, in my country SAT aren't common and we don't have Act exams here What should I do 🥺🥺🥺
Your sister that wears glasses (the pretty one who looks like you) cares for you. Be careful of the other one, who smiles and has a sparkle in her eyes every time she hears that you were rejected. She said 3 times that you had to wait twice so that you feel really sad. Lean on the nice sister and forget this one. She will only bring you pain in life. Never trust her. Distance yourself from her if possible.
I am: - Intersex South Asian Male - Suburban region (Bristol, UK) - Public High School - Not legacy - Working class Will my Intersex identity give me a advantage because Intersex is rare in Application pool even for international.
Hi Nabi!!! Can my son connect to yr sister for some guidance n also if she can guide to connect with the professors in Stanford in CS since he wants to study CS, Robotics n mechanical Engineering....Can you pls give yr sister's email id , if possible. Many Thanks.
Awesome! Here's how my sister was the only one in her school to be accepted to Stanford...We're Asian btw😊......So besides the given top notch ap/sat/gpa/rank/extracurriculars/volunteer, here's what we think was the determining factors: She had a close Stanford ALUMNI MENTOR whom she collaborated on a project that also involved a Stanford PROFESSOR That professor vouched for her by writting a LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION She took pre-college courses at Stanford She was the creator and founder of a couple NON-profit online platforms Scholarships/grants and family high income would be able to cover her tuition and more AND she made sure early on that Stanford was definately the right school for her
Luck plays a significant role in life. For graduate school, I applied to two schools: Stanford and Brown. I got both and went to Stanford (A.M., 1981). I don’t recommend my approach.
I remember how I cried when I found out that I did not enter the university that I really wanted. but, life always throws up a lot of ways that you can go and always leads you where you need to go, the main thing is not to give up
