Dorchester campground is the closest campground. It is not too far from Taylor Pass or American Flag Mountain. There is dispersed camping allowed in some of the area, but I don't know for sure where it is ok. hope this helps.
We've never been to 60ft falls or mill creek trails yet. Some told me not to go 60 ft falls alone, it's bad. Which is better come in off 23 fly gap road and come down or come off 215 and go up to it. Which is easiest, any bad etc. Plus is mill creek trails bad, is it better to go clockwise or counter clockwise on blue loop. Any spots to avoid, saw one spot on west side of blue loop around 25 mile spot on west side of trails had a yellow trail that said easy. Didn't know if that section through there was bad? We plan on going to frog bsyou too. Thanks for info
I think it is easier to come from 215 to the 60ft falls. Coming from east fly gap has one spot that you might not like. I have a lot of videos on the Mill Creek trails and the Blue Loop on my channel. Just click on my channel and then click on videos, look for videos on Mulberry Mountain, Mill Creek, Frog Bayou or Blue Loop. I also have videos on the waterfalls. I don't think it matters which direction you ride the Blue Loop.
Eddy, I am a dual sport guy that has gone to the cage and the wife loves the trips on our Pro XP . I have done the Alpine loop, the question is as far a a Colorado trip for the two of us with great views and some good riding what is your vote? Think we are from the same area. I am north of the river??
We love the Taylor Park area there are lots of trails you can ride from there. It is about a 12-hour drive from the Kansas City area. You should go in July or August because if you go earlier than July some of the passes might be snowed in and closed. We highly recommend this area your wife will love the views my wife does. I am like you I rode dirt bikes for years and now my wife can go to all the places I used to ride. If you get a chance to go, there you will not be disappointed. Thanks for watching I still have some more videos coming out from this trip.
Hey Eddy. Love your videos. My wife and I are heading down to the ozarks next weekend. I see you’ve gone to both LOTO and Loop. For my wife’s sake, which one is less extreme. lol. Or is there any other place around that may work as well. Thanks
Loved the Video Eddy! That definitely was way off camber for me too, like you said especially riding alone. Chance of never being found is correct, I would say
Great video, i never ride my atv or SxS by myself. It’s just better to have friends with you, so far I’ve always been ok, but i have helped a lot of people on the trails.
When they got a post office it was renamed St Elmo from a book one of the founding fathers of the town was reading. They renamed it because there were already to many towns named Forestville.
The small town is technically called Abbeyville to my knowledge. The road leading to it is called Rainbow Rd. Just passed the mailboxes is the street sign made from wood. My father in-law was the one that made the sign. The family has one of the first cabins built there. Love the area
Hi Eddy i injoy your videos i was out there in Pitkin over labor day weekend had a great time riding the trails. I thought maybe we could get together and ride i'm new to side × side i live in Belton not to far from you.
I've only rode in Colorado so far l would like to ride some of the places in Missouri and Arkansas. I use to ride atvs so I have been a few places l have a trip planned to little Sahara OK second weekend in October.
Dang.. I GOT to get out of this city.. Maybe God will let me win the lottery.. Or maybe He'll have some rich chick who wants to R.V. the country fall in love with me.. It could happen! lol. In the words of Mike, keep on keepin' on Eddy.
Hey Eddie, this here’s Bubba, I’m Dave’s TwinCousin. You helped us out today big time when we left Sarah on the road when we went into the deep trails. You also aired up her tire that was going flat. Thank you so much friends and for partnering my family as went through Napoleon Pass (near Tin Cup, CO) and all the other trails up to Cross Mountain! You got some new scribes today from our group! Loved meeting you and the Mrs today. Trail on our new friends!!
@@eddywebster1387 yes, we got back in time… but because of the flat they are charging her for a whole new tire! What’s that about? We asked why they couldn’t just plug it… they said that wasn’t good enough, because it could go low on the next renter. Makes sense, but what if you just pull the tire and patch from the inside. Wouldn’t that work?? As for where to send photos (ie email)… how can we direct msg you, so we aren’t posting info publicly?
I've been all over this area on both a Harley and in a Jeep. You never know what's around the next turn unless you really know it well, and that's the fun of it. I've retired in north central AR and still get down to these parts on occasion, but I've never been to Bud's Cabin. It's nice they let you go inside and have a look around. The Oark Cafe is good eats and interesting inside. Really like the Jasper and Ponca area too. Thanks for taking us for the ride!
I am watching your video Mill Creek from 7 mo ago I just found this video and subscribed Can you tell me more about this place I and my wife are interested in checking it out We are from Nebraska Fred
