I live in the tropical where coconut palm groves is every where & no synthetic fertilizer is applied year in & year out. So fresh coconut milk is used every morning with eggs & greens. Afternoon used coconut oils as well as coconut milk for curry, veggie & frying. At 70 y.o now as active as at 40y.o. No doc visit!!!
I hadnt gone to the dentist for 15 years with very minimal brushing or cleaning other than with scraping tools like tooth picks or plastic straws etc, and i hadnt had a problem, it was only until i had a moment of weakness and binged a bunch of sugar in one sitting in the form of candy and cookies, ill never do that again, i felt hung over and had my teeth ache for 2 days straight! Then i got a cavity. Dont eat sugars and you wont have to worry about cavities so much, also i take lots of vitamins normally, especially lots of vitamin D which helps keep gums and teeth healthy.
The keyword is bianual... plaque builds up by days not by.months. I clean mine every few days with targeted fine abrasion with small mirrors and strong light. You cant wait months. Brushing and flossing is NOT sufficient. After brushibg and flossing upon exam I find micro pockets that CANNOT be removed by brush alone and need targeted approach. These micro residues buildup for few.months and subvert your health long term. Dentist cleaning is expensive and never on time. She said plaque is not food material but bacterial infection... not true. Plaque genesis begins with food residue that are attacked by streptos and hardened by the natural reminalization mechanism. Your teeth leach minerals to rebuild surface and these minerals calcify the food residue. This happens for few hours and if you skip even once brushing or brusbing was incomplete and you only have halse sensenof clean teeth there you lock the plaque cycle and need dentist because you cant target it yourself
After optimistic dreaming about MCTs, consuming coconut oil for a year, and the reported benefitsl, my lab results confirmed alarming LDL and triglycerides increases. I have CVD and multiple cardio stents. While I loved the exotic flavoring it contributed to foods, it was nearly lethal for me. Use care.
Breakfast is the worst meal of the day as hormones are high including growth hormone. Eat b/w 9:30 to 11AM when hormones are tapering. And, you can do lifesaving intermittent fasting and autophagy. Main meal needs to be around 5PM when cardiovascular efficiency is maximum. Two meals, no munching. That simple.
Barbara O'Neil never claimed she is a doctor. Why exploit her fame with the wrong title. Honestly, she is more than a doctor she is an angel. Alright? Stay Blessed🙏🎉
As a dental hygienist I agree with everything you said yet to encourage people not to have dental cleanings it's almost like telling people that every time they brush or do everything else that you suggest it will work 100%. Unfortunately this is a more complex issue. You forget the mental and physical health of each individual. It's irresponsible in your part to make a claim like that Skipping Dental Cleanings. Most people struggle in their oral hygiene and when health or emotional issues are present oral hygiene gets even worse.
That is so true, unfortunately. It’s like saying all you have to do is study and you’ll have a 4.0 GPA, BUT most people procrastinate every now and then plus there are genetic factors involved as well. And then add psychological aspects in the mix….. Sooo, in an ideal world, yeah, that’s all fine and dandy but in real life things are not perfect. We are not perfect. We all won’t have a 4.0 GPA. We all won’t practice perfect oral hygiene. But we’ll epically try. And we will epically “fail”, for lack of a better word. Some days we’ll try our best. Some days we’ll just be happy we made it through the day!
Virtually all commercial mouthwashes kill off the oral microbiome. It is far better to use a solution of salt and bicarbonate/baking soda. Parts of this video reads like an an for xylotol products.
Weston A. Price 1936: "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration". It's very clear what to do or not... Don't use mouthwash, it kills your microbiome and therefore weakens your natural immune system.
Another vegan misinformation path. Saturated fats are not the problem. The fluidity of the cell membrane is mainly due to its content of cholesterol, a saturated lipid.
Got to 55 seconds and it is the C15 deficiency, for which Dr. Stephanie Venn-Watson conveniently sells an expensive supplement for. Not exactly new, just recently more promoted. I've seen info from this dating back to before 2021. I'm not saying that C15 does or doesn't have a benefit, but I suspect most people just need to stop consuming ultra-processed foods and reduce their carbs quite a bit.
