Yep. Overcrowded. Severe lack of amenities. No indoor amenity center. When it is too hot, too cold or raining there is practically nothing to do. Severely needs an indoor recreation center with refreshments and games like billiards, shuffleboard, foosball etc etc.
I live in Mississippi. I first visited Aiken in the Spring of 93. I've since made regular visits. Aiken was my refuge from hurricane Katrina. Nice place......unlike your video
What''s the small print in the agreement? If I sign an agreement with one agent, are there any ramifications to writing a contract with another agent who has a signed agreement from me? Or, am I "tied" to the agent I signed an agreement with? Will these new rules lend themselves to unscrupulous agents only showing the homes that pay them the highest commissions? Seems to me this fixes a problem that didn't exist.
Thanks for the comment. Good question. Once you sign a Buyer Agreement with a Broker. You will then have a relationship with them. If you are unhappy with that agent and go to another, the second agent will ask you, "Did you sign anything"? So......choose wisely. Go with experience, company, personality. It is a good thing to have someone GOOD looking after your best interest.
Completely disagree with about everything you said - Habersham IS beautiful, however it is Far from most everything, nothing to do nearby, and it’s a bit edgy getting there. Next Bluffton to me seems to always have lots and lots of traffic, as well as lots of new tract homes. -which is Not what I like. Beaufort is THE absolute most charming, historical, classy, & Beautiful place I have ever been! The people, the feel of the whole surrounding areas, including Lady’s Island, which “IS THAT GREAT”, contrary to your comments! It has lots of beautiful neighborhoods, Newpoint, Walling Grove, along with gorgeous neighborhoods on Sunset and Meridian roads, the Marina is also very charming, loads of nice restaurants and not just close to Beaufort downtown, but also the adorable Port Royal! Lots of charming old and new houses in cute neighborhoods!! I think you need to do a bit more homework before acting as if you are a good source of information.
John: Good video explaining a complicated issue. My wife is a realtor in NJ dealing with the new rules. I think people will go to the listing agent directly to save the commission, not realizing no one is looking out for them !

John, good video--thanks. Any updates on the lawsuit? From what I've read elsewhere, it appears the homeowners are concerned about their perception that the developer is doing a bait and switch and that the community amenities are being overrun as they're giving priority to Montage guests over homeowners, which doesn't seem fair/right to me either.
