Nice video - you certainly do not want to be caught out in front of a P47...those 8 x 0.5 cal will rip you to shreds...Remember almost 20 years ago in IL 2 1946 while playing online, I flew a bf109g10 over Lake Balaton (Hungary) when I came across a P47..we were above 20 000 feet and he started a climbing circle, I tried to follow him, but after a little while I decided to cut inside his circle (I could not close on him otherwise) and the P47 pilot saw this, rollled upside down and dived towards his own lines - I started diving after him, but of course he was pulling away, I then broke off and headed home (I did not want to be caught at low altitude over enemy lines). 20 years later I still remember this and wonder who the P47 pilot was....
It was a normal plane, retro soviet propaganda pumped its fame, but in the Axis kill lists it was one of the most shot down (together with yak 1 and Lagg 3), mainly for low training of their pilots. Even Italian pilots flying C 200 Saetta shot down many of them.
I could see how this plane would take so many losses, it was way inferior to the 109E. The game has a very good Mc202. It would be grand if the game had an Mc200 however I do not think they will be adding anymore planes. It looks like they are going to invest in WW1 flying circus and Korea. Such a tragedy. @@callsignnictmere465 I think Korea will be a nice addition, but with the IL 2 GB not as a stand alone. IL 2 1946 didn't teach anything to GB developers. Ciao
great to see another BMS video! I just wish they where longer! I've watched nearly each of your Il-2 1946 videos, and I understand it's easier to make a video that's shorter and a lot of people don't like watching the "Boring parts" but I would love it, cheers!
Wasn't a K-4....was a G-14, HOWEVER, I loaded the MK-108, with the 20mm Gondolas on the wing. Stupid P-47 tried to go 1 Circle.....You know what happened. I missed my first shot! Had him Full Profile, just like a Gift. Second shot however "Did he pull his plug? Where did he go?" "BW you got him." "Oh, OK. He disappeared and the kill notification was late. I got it now." Guy vaporized....I pulled so much lead, I didnt see what happened.I was like, "Where he go?" 🤣🤣 I don't even care...20mm or the 30mm.....I just wish She carried more than 1 bomb!!!!!!!! YES, ENY made me fly the 109.
Not sure why you used full flaps they produce more drag than lift in fully lowered position, it's about 10-20* on your flap indicator that really maximize your short takeoff's. But the rest of the video is great, thank you
Bravo, well done! Good video, good video series, great campaign. Making that last kill at almost 3/4 of a kilometer, with your plane shot to shit and your pilot wounded, was really impressive. Again, well done, and thanks so much for all the fun. I would give this 10 thumbs up if I could.

The last Ju88 campaign i have watched was the Ju88 over Murmansk campaign for Tailmange years ago back in 2013 . Glad to see a semi historical Ju88 campaign posted again on youtube very nice campaign, thumbs up!

DONKEY! Bright Blue sky and high enough, to not get bugs in your hair. Gotta love it. Well, other than the whole war thing going on. You know what I mean 😁😁 I tracked 2 t-34s the other day, with my Donkey. We have a couple of new maps, that allow for I-16s and Brewsters to up off of the Vehicle Bases. Pretty cool addition imho. Those Yaks are really maneuverable and hard to dogfight,but your evasion and dogfighting skills are pretty impressive . I've watched your tutorial on working the throttle and flaps in dogfights thumbs up!
I took me along time to get a handle on the dog fight using flaps really helps preventing stalls and flat spins, at low speeds. I am glad you found it useful.
